Extract of sample "Selfridges Company"

Essentially, the Selfridges Company started back in 1909. It deals with numerous products, which include, bags, shoes, care products design clothing for both males and females. This paper intends to consider care products and definitely the Tom Ford Carine mock-lizard bag. This bag is stylish with intertwined smart and refined spacious compartments. It serves as the epitome of classic luxury. It is designed to make an impression, especially for the models during the beauty shows (SELFRIDGE, 2004). The Tom Ford Carine Mock-lizard bag is distinct in several ways from others. It is shiny with high-quality leather, which brings an exemplary look. This paper intends to consider female models as the target group from the lower market level to the upper market level. It is notable that the relationship between the target groups with the Selfridges Company is founded on the provision of quality and model bags for beauty shows (WOODHEAD, 2012). The target group has continually built strong client–service relationships with the company, and this has seen growth in annual sales.

It is notable that, the market trend of this Carine Mock-lizard bag has been growing tremendously over the past years. These growth trends are attributed to the growing appreciation of the brand in the modeling and beauty industry.  It is imperative to note that, the model and beauty industry is attributed to changes in fashion however, some fashion has been repeating. For instance, the Tom Ford lizard bag has been in existence since the early 1970s, and it has been appreciated and embraced in beauty shows up to date (WOODHEAD & MARKER, 2012). It is fundamental to note that, the shape and size of this product have undergone a transformation to suit the ever-changing demands of the model and beauty trends.

The brand products can be purchased from numerous stores across Europe, which include London, Birmingham, Manchester Exchange Square, and Manchester Trafford (WOODHEAD, 2012). The environment under which these products are sold is not founded on competition but rather a universal market environment. This is due to the target group, which is relatively perceived as rich because of the social status they hold in society (WOODHEAD & MARKER, 2012). On the other hand, the consumer might not prefer any specific outlet such as the city center or the Trafford center because of the general perception that all the stores provide quality and decent brands.

It is imperative to note that promotion is essential in increasing sales. For instance, the digital marketing and advertising of the products are appropriate since the world of the 21st century is tremendously technologically interconnected (LANCASTER, 2005). Consider the following excerpt from the facebook advert.

Some of the social media used in advertising products by Selfridge include twitter and commercial blogs. In summary, this magazine outlines the quality, size, shapes, and brands of the product in discussion (SELFRIDGE, 2004). In addition, it indicates the stores where this product can be purchased.  Purchasing of this product can be done physically or ordering and delivery of the product will be done.
