Innovation in the Society: Auto Car Name Institution Date Introduction Innovations play an important role in the development of the society. The innovations in the field of science and technology have been on the increase in the recent past. They are meant to improve human lives by ensuring that tasks are made easy (Rogers, 2010). The advancement in technology is also responsible for most innovations in the world today. The innovations have enabled the humans to eliminate the manual tasks that are tedious and have negative impacts on them. Some of the innovations are based on the existing practices while other innovations are new in the society. The people who carry out the innovations do so after a long study in a given issue. Marketing the innovated products is also an issue as it can only be adopted by the customers if it fits their requirement. The products therefore require marketing after their innovations. The innovator also has to protect their products by obtaining the patent rights. This is done to avoid duplication of the product by other people as it has been the case for some products. The paper discusses the concepts of innovations in relation to an auto car. About the Product The auto car is an innovation made after a careful study of the concepts of operations of the ordinary cars. The auto car mainly uses the technological concepts in its operations. The auto car replaces the ordinary car by eliminating the need of the human driver. This is for the purpose of safety bas most of the accidents involving the cars are as a result of the human errors. The product is also convenient as it can be used by any class of travelers. This eliminates the need of driving license which is a requirement before one is allowed to drive. The auto car therefore promotes the human safety on the roads and thus reducing the mortality rate as a result of road accidents which claims thousands of lives every year. The utilization of the modern technology concepts is also convenient to most of the users as the rate of technological use is increasing in most of the sectors. The current generation is also friendly to the technological concepts and hence the ability to fully utilize the product. As compared to the manual cars, the auto cars are easy to manufacture as most of the components in the ordinary vehicles are replaced. This makes the car less costly and hence its affordability to most people with in the high class and low class. The auto car also has many features as compared to the ordinary cars and hence its convenience to the road users. A part from the auto car to reduce accidents, it is also advantageous in terms of environmental protection. Any innovation in the current world has to be environmental friendly for it to be approved (Porter, 2000). Operations of the Auto Car The operations of the auto car are unique from the ordinary cars. This is due to the gadgets that it has been fixed with to enable its operations. The gadgets fixed are mainly technological and enables the safe movement of the car. The rear view mirror of the car has been mounted with a camera that is able to detect the traffic lights. This enables the car to operate safely in the urban areas where there are traffic lights and hence ensuring that accidents do not occur. On the roof of the car, a sensor which rotates has been mounted and it senses an area of sixty meters radius for objects and it creates a three dimensional figure of the environment. This ensures that the car is able to detect the presence of any object and hence eliminating the chances of the occurrence of accidents. Depending on the nature of the objects within the sixty meters radius, the car automatically decelerates or accelerates. This is important especially at night when most of the drivers are not able to see clears. In the instances of rain or mist, it is difficult for the drivers to see objects in a long distance. However, the auto car is unique and it is able to sense objects over a long distance and hence preventing accidents. The distance sensors have been fixed on the rear as well as the front sensors for the purpose of allowing the car to maintain distances between objects and also to ensure that the speed is reduced based on the range of the object. A position estimator is also fixed on the left rear wheel to detect the position of the car in relation to the map. This innovation is thus evident that the innovation is aimed at promoting human safety and hence its convenience (Dasgupta, 2011). Customer Satisfaction The auto car is able to meet its expectations of reducing the accidents as well as ensuring that safety is promoted in the roads. The features that are installed in the car are able to meet the main objectives of the innovation which ids to promote safety and protect the environment. The product will also be able to meet the all the requirements of the customers as it is easy to use and it do not require any experience as compared to the modern vehicles. Due to the technological features that have been installed in the car, it is able to fulfill the requirements of the modern generation of users. It is important to note that the modern generation prefers products that are technological as opposed to the manual products. It is for this reason that the product will be ale to fulfill the requirements of the customers. The auto car is also easy to use and it can be used in the present roads and hence its convenience to use. The future of the car is also bright as it is able to meet most of the future demands due to its technological abilities. Technology is aimed at enhancing the performance of most of the sectors in future and hence the bright prospects of the innovations (Merklein, 2002). However, it is also important to note that a few modifications may be made on the product in future depending on the requirements of the customers. The ability of a product to satisfy the requirements of the customers plays an important role in its popularity and acceptability in the market (Schmitt, 2011). Paradigm shift and industrialization The product has a close relationship with the society as it is required on a daily basis. The people in the society have to travel on a daily basis and hence the need for the product. Although ordinary cars are used for the purpose of traveling on a daily basis, the auto car is unique. This is because it provides the safest and the most efficient means of traveling. This therefore ensures that the lives of the people are not endangered during the process of traveling. The society also requires the product for the purpose of protecting the environment. The product is more efficient in terms of protecting the environment as compared to the ordinary cars and hence its relevance in the society. Although the cars have been used for years in terms of traveling, the concepts of the auto car are unique and hence representing a new wave of innovation. The concepts of technology are also an indication of the new innovation in the market. This also represents a revolution in the automotive sector which is used to the ordinary vehicles that requires the human drivers. However, it is evident that the technology used replaces the human drivers and it is more efficient. The innovation also has some positive and negative impacts on the employment sector. Since the vehicles do not require drivers, it means that the companies and individuals will not have to employ drivers. This has a positive impact on the cost of operations of a company. The money used to pay the drivers may be used for other functions. It is thus evident that an innovation may impact negatively on the employment process (Hoffman, 2010). Environmental issues The environmental issues are important in the current developments. This is because most of the companies have realized on the importance of protecting the environment. The current activities or innovations determine the future of the environment. The auto car is environmental friendly and hence its efficiency. This is compared to the ordinary cars which require a lot of fuel for it to be operated. The combustion gases produced by the ordinary vehicles have negative impacts on the environment. The gases are also among the leading cause of environmental pollution in the world. Most of the environmental organizations are against the increase in number of the ordinary cars. However, with the auto cars, the protection of the environment is enhanced. This is because it dies not emit much toxic gases to the environment. On the other hand, sound pollution is also harmful to the environment. The ordinary vehicles produce a lot of noise during movement and hence contributing to the pollution of the environment. However, the auto cars are friendly to the environment in terms of sound ads it does not pollute the environment. Any innovation has to be friendly to the environment for it to be considered acceptable. This is because of the impacts that most of the innovations have on the environment. It is for this reason that most of the innovators have to carry out environment assessment impact to determine the viability of the innovation. An innovation that is not friendly to the environment will definitely be rejected no mater how efficient it may be in its operations (Nunes, 2010). Cluster, Competitiveness and Future of the Product The auto cars is a global product as the requirements of the commuters is the same in al the countries. The cars can also be used on any road and hence its ability to serve the clients in any country. This therefore makes the product a global brand. Its popularity may also rise easily and it will receive the support of most customers allover the world. The government support is required to some extend for the product to be successful. The development of roads in most countries is the responsibility of the government. Although the car can be used in any road, the development of proper roads is important for the life cycle of the auto car. The car can be used efficiently when the road is in proper condition. Maintenance of the auto car is also dependant on the conditions of the road. The government support is thus important for the purpose of ensuring the success of the product. The policies of the government are also important in terms of production and sale of the vehicles. The commercialization of the product therefore requires some support of the government. The auto car is also set to be competitive in the market. This is because to its advantages and it will definitely outdo the ordinary vehicles in the market. The future of the product is also bright in the company. This is because of the benefits that the product has as well as its concepts of technology. The abilities of a product to attract the customers determine its success and competitiveness in the market (Böhringer, et al, 2012). Conclusion In conclusion, innovation plays a significant role in terms of reducing the manual tasks. It is evident that the auto car plays an important role in enhancing the human safety on the roads. This is important in terms of reducing deaths due to the road accidents. On the other hand, it is also evident that the auto car is environmental friendly. The product is a global brand and it utilizes the technological concepts. This is a direction towards the future as technology is one of the future concepts that are being enhanced. It is also evident that the support of the government is required for the success of the innovation. The success of an innovation depends on the impacts that it has on the society.
