The marketing director will also have the task to plan and administer the hospital’s marketing operations budget. For the marketing department to function effectively there will be the need to carry out a thorough budgeting plan for the hospital so that the hospital can operate within a defined plan in order to avoid situations of deficit or surpluses. To operate on well planned budget will also ensure that resources are well distributed to the various marketing strategies so that the hospital can achieve its objectives through proper planning, budgeting and marketing of the hospital’s products.
