The club card enables customers to save money through the provision of vouchers that enable them to purchase goods at a reduced price, through points accumulated from earlier purchases at Tesco outlets or at partner stores. While earning of points was difficult before, Tesco has made it easier by the partnership with other companies and thus aroused the interest of customers in this scheme and built a large and loyal customer base.
