Televisions broadcast images and voice which are monochromatic, colorful, or in three dimension. The term television may basically refer to television sets, television programs, or media for television.It is an icon in the media industry which entertains, advertises and offers news. Television was invented in the 1920s and by the 1950s it was the common form of media in homes and used in getting public opinions on various aspects. In the late 2000s, digital televisions hit the market. There was also rise in smart television and online television which are available in services such as Hulu. Television studio refers to a system where video productions happen which include live TV recording, video tapping, and formatting of raw footage for broadcasting (Vandenbosch and Eggermont, 2014).The structure of a television studio is not much different from a movie studio, with minor amendments to suit television production.A standard television studio has basically several rooms which are disconnected but are linked via intercom and employees are divided amongst the rooms. The studio floor is the real stage where the recording of activities for viewing is recorded. A studio floor comprises of decorations, video cameras, stage lights, and public address systems. The studio control room refers to a region where the composing of an outgoing program happens.The studio control is also referred to as the production control. Also, it is occasionally called the SCR. In a satellite control room, TV information is directed and often form local satellite utilized by the TV station. Consumption The consumption of television varies in different regions across the globe with a variety of various transmission regulations in usage and distinct strategies by the government to ownership and broadcast content. In Africa, the first country to introduce TV use was Nigeria in the late 1950s. In Asia, majority of the countries controlled the television usage, but in the recent years, there are numerous non-governmental stations which are operational. In Australia, televisions were first used in the year 1956. Community groups in Australia have been issued licenses to develop community television stations.Majority of the private TV stations operate jointly with the three major networks; Seven, Nine, and Ten. Majority of the countries did not have private networks until after 1980. Some countries made opportunity for private television through closure of one the state owned station. Most of the countries did not have more than five national broadcasting companies during the analogue era. With the introduction of digital television, global channels have significantly increased. Cable and satellite are playing a great in the rise of private television with numbers stations available for payment. For Europe is linguistically diverse, the most common broadcasters are nationally operated or even operate operated on countries which have common culture or language Television channels available for the whole of European countries include Euronews and Eurosport. In Latin America there has been a great extension in the television industry.At the moment, there are more than 1500 television channels in the whole of Latin America. In this region, television developed irregularly due to due to the fiscal troubles that took place during 1970 and 1990. In Mexico and Brazil, there are not more than two networks which hold the highest proportion of the audience. In Colombia and Chile, broadcasting was public till after 1990. In the United States, there are three conventional television broadcasters which include NBC, ABC, and CBS offer occasional programs for their associate broadcasters. Sinclair Broadcast Group holds the largest section of the local broadcasting stations which accesses nearly 25% of the US households. In the past 3 decades, cable and satellite television provides household with numerous television services. Cable television benefits people who live in regions of weak signal (Lundgren, 2015). Television continues to the major source of entertainment and provides coverage of vital events. Television is one of the major bases for communication in the current eras. It is widely known that communication in the current times is offered through print media and electronic media. Television is an essential part of the electronic media. Television plays a significant role in daily lives of humans. It is a representation of a stable force in the community and it is on the greatest thing in the lives of many people. Televisions are convenient sources of entertainment and it is cheaper compared to other sources. It keeps people updated with present events and gives people an opportunity to make a follow up on the most recent developments in science and other fields such as politics. It presents its viewers with a wide range of programs which are instructive and entertaining. Majority of the television programs present viewers with a wide range of thins they previously had never thought about r heard of. Television series have carried out an important task in popularization of a lot of literary work. Television accompanies the percentage of the population that does not work such the house wives, the old and lonely people (Caroli, Argentieri, Cardone and Masi, 2004).Televisions offer a significant viewing grounds range of programs such as school programs and sometimes presents special programs for people in the university such as language teaching, stitching, chef lessons, and beauty programs. It the major channel for creative talents. People across the globe are no longer distanced and separated from one another as the television unites various regions of the globe and bring the most isolated custom and culture to the view of the rest of the population.In comparison to radio broadcasting, television is extensively realistic, vibrant, and actual. Majority of television programs are vital factors for keeping families coherent. It keeps the public adequately informed about the government and its current projects. It informs people about the weather and news and informs the public on matters such as flooding, winds, and other natural calamities. In some instances, television offers solutions to some common problems experienced by people. The public can be educated on safety. In addition, television informs the public in the newest and wonderful products in stores. Through watching TV, people are able to engage themselves in the situations of the characters of a program. It plays a significant role in the escaping of personal problems and explores the illusory distress of other individuals. Television is a representation of the most common channel used by humans for escape. Television drains out anxiety and depression. It is a distraction from the actual society people dwell in. in instances where people find themselves in situations they wish they could just block the thought of it, television serves a significant role. This explains why television is extremely popular in different regions across the globe. It is not explainable what recovering people would be using; it makes days pass away fast, brings comic relief, and the major was of evading painful thoughts and feelings people go through. However, it is not recommended to watch television throughout but it plays a vital role in times of such mystery (Roberts, Pettigrew, Chapman, Miller and Quester, 2012). As much as television is beneficial to the society, it has some negative impacts. Television programs may break bonds amidst people (Sussman and Moran, 2013). Constant viewers of television get passive in their deeds.The world portrayed on some of the television programs separate viewers from the actual world.Some people get addicted to the television which makes them get antisocial. Gazing at televisions for long periods of time is detrimental to the eyes and the nerves. Television offers a spell for the young generation such that they completely lose their personal opinion as they imagine whatever is said on the television is right and ought to be practiced.
