Organizational behavior Explanation and application of the acquired needs theory as the most appropriate theory of motivation for the three organizations Motivation is an intrinsic factor to ensuring that all undertakings and performances presume to acquiring specific goals and objectives. A study on philosophical accounts establishes of the various motivational theories that lead to acquisition of the set goals and objectives. Mainly, research indicates that the important factor held on motivation is the focus to acquire the set needs, which emanates from the aspect of satisfaction, consequently born to the behavioral phenomenon. In accordance to various researches on organizational behavior and relations, the management relies on motivation to acquire the objectives, but adapts to the most appropriate motivational approach, which coheres to the factors prevailing circumstances and the nature of activities performed therein. Therefore, a survey on the most appropriate motivational theory to apply on the three organizations integrates to the mode of conducting business among the organizations and the goals pursued (Griffin, and Gregory 33). The Microsoft international, Dubai municipality, and Rinac India Pvt ltd, are the organizations to consider. The three organizations conduct profitable approaches to enhance the value and development in the endeavor to accrue the set plans. For instance, the Microsoft Company ensures a continuous development of software programs, computers, and other technologically advanced electronic devices with an aim of enhancing communication and making relevant profits, with a desired degree competence than the competitors (French, 34). On the other hand, Dubai Municipal, under the leadership of His Highness Hamdan Bin Maktoum emphasizes on continued projects to ensure positive development. The city is acknowledged as the world’s leading trading center, which further incorporates tourists’ attraction sites. With the desire to uphold the superiority, the authorities fin d it a necessity to ensure that all projects are innovative and aim at development. Thirdly, Rinac India Ltd, a producer of cold rooms and refrigerators based in India, remains vulnerable to competition and other organizational threats (Griffin, and Gregory 35). Therefore the company’s management ensures that all the internal factors of production cohesively perform goal oriented activities. The three organizations focus on success and competence against their competitors in their specific fields of delivering value to society. With the increased need of development and sustainability, the organizations find the necessity to establish a motivational factor. A review on the acquired needs theory ascertains of the factors that organizations, like human beings, may struggle to acquire from their performances. The three organizations seem to emphasize on achievement of the set goals and objectives. According to McClellan, the acquired needs theorists, he denoted on the fact that motivation could occur from the need for achievement and accomplishment of a designated task and the phenomena reflects perfectly from the set of goals and objectives of the three organizations to ensure success. The organizations further focus on the need of appreciation and formation of relationships amongst other global parties, a factor that reflects to the affiliation aspect (French, 35). Thirdly, the three organizations focus to ensure a lead and competence in their specific production fields thus implying to the need for power. Development of teamwork to deliver online courses on business and engineering The Tripoli branch of the main college shall ensure that all duties and obligations aim at achieving the main mission to eventually become a competent subsidiary of the main institute. With the advent of information technology, the institutes ascertains that the Tripoli branch shall competently offer the local and global community with the ideal business and engineering disciplines for guaranteed performance with excellence. However, the challenges revolve around the issue of implementation of teamwork to achieve the desired goals and objectives of the institute as well as provision of knowledgeable solutions to business and engineering disciplines. With the notion that the teachers herein are former and current students from the parent institution, challenges are prone and expectations are that they shall emanate from interrelations amongst the teachers. Adoption of a specific theory shall thereof serve to conquer any shortcomings and misunderstandings amongst the staff members. At this point, the establishment of a development strategy shall effectively forecast on the implementation of desired teamwork in the organization (Griffin, and Gregory 33). Factors impacting development of teamwork As the chief executive officer to the Tripoli institute, the most important factors considered integral to teamwork revolve around the issues of trust and communication. The two aspects weigh the importance in the institution of interdependent culture, such that the involved parties shall engage on objectives in accordance to set plans, with the prevailing interrelations serving as profitable to the sharing ideas and tackling organizational problems amongst the teaching staff. The process establishes the core-factors that unify the Tripoli institute’s staff to limit the factors that seem to rest on individual aspects, curbing the importance of trust and communication to propel the desirable chances of achieving teamwork. Mainly the prevalent challenges among the teaching staff may be bound to the incapacitation of the staff to share ideas due the lack of trust and probably the occurrence of personal differences amongst the teams. With the notion that the staff comprises of former and current students of the parent institute, probabilities are that the staff shall exhibit conflicts as a result of longtime differences probably born during their learning course in the parent institute. This drawback is common and injurious to performance as it hinders interdependence and free communication. The infant institution of Tripoli falls vulnerable to underachievement and poor delivery of the duties as dictated in the institution’s plan. Mainly, lack of trust and individualism in implementation of learning decisions is a major cause to underachievement as seen in the infant institute. Since the new Tripoli institute comprises of students and former students, teamwork may subsequently fail to impact desired changes with the notion that the involved staff lacks adequate knowledge to perform teamwork because of the ideology of individualism in striving to achieve the target goals and objectives. The inexperienced staffs at the institute are vulnerable to executing error prone exercises, in spite of their resolution to establish teams. Further, teamwork may pose challenges to acquisition of the goals in essence that untrained teaching staff, having come from the same institute, may show incompetence at the team as they may deviate from academic to personal issues. A report on the use of technology to develop the online venture and improve growth and wellbeing Globalization and development of technology has impacted significantly to development in the society. Arguably, technology in communication is the source of a global culture that has continually cohered different societies to engage in similar strategies towards development. The organization shall comprise of the required equipment to effect communication among the teaching staff and to the target students undertaking online modular courses (French, 38). Because of the extent upon which technology will serve as helpful to the Tripoli institution, the managing board should uphold to ensuring that students and the teaching staff gain access to computers and internet connectivity whenever need arises. Perceptions are that technology forms the integral unit of the subsidiary college in Tripoli with the understanding that all lessons shall be conducted at the online platform. Restrictions to accessing the computer gadgets shall remain minimal with the understanding that most of the people seeking to access them will be teachers since most of the students undertake distant learning courses. Further, the involved parties shall gain technical support as a form of eradicating illiteracy and enhancing performance and job delivery (Griffin, and Gregory 35). As the chief executive, avoidance of error performances is a key consideration with the understanding that the teachers are former students to the institute. The most appropriate resolution to ensuring prompt acquisition of target goals upon performance of objectives is inert and intrinsic to the value held on training the workforce. As an infant organization, the Tripoli based college shall acquaint teachers with precise skills on teaching and using different software for different learning purposes. Similarly, the Tripoli College shall establish the most compatible technological approach that correlates with the students’ educational needs and services (Hiriyappa, 45). Most importantly, the management should know that the intended technological approach in the college shall reflect to the set of goals outlined in the long-range planning in delivering educative services to other clients. Further, the management should be supportive in ensuring training programs to the teachers upon every technological change as a mode of increasing efficiency. Through the use of technology, the college clientele shall increase continuously and the Libyan society shall be capable of attaining academic lessons at their workplaces, home, and at far distances from Tripoli or any other city to access education. An implementation of a prospectus expresses of the possibilities that the majority population seeking education falls under the youthful age bracket, who further have access and knowledge to computer systems and shall find it simple to enroll into online academic programs as it saves and paves way for other activities that can serve as basis to amass funds for the learning process. Probabilities are that the courses shall expand significantly because of the institution’s credibility in acquainting students with the accurate and current studies shall spread via the internet. Upon the spread, other interested clients shall request for enrolment in various courses thus; more teachers shall be recruited from the parent institution, a factor that creates profitability, increased incomes, and expansion of the organization (Phillips, and Stanley 45). The most appropriate approach to maximize support and improved work efficiency for a vice president in the Talent LLC The risks born in businesses are many and most of them emanate from the prevailing relationships between the superior management and the personnel. As the vice president to the Talent LLC Company, a reflection and practice of the theory X model seems inapplicable in this business model. For instance, the personnel are likely to rent cars without proper scrutiny of the types of clients ordering hires as some of them maybe fraudsters. Therefore, it would ill to pressurize the clients to increase efficiency since the company does not seek to risk the underlying consequences. The predecessors, Sally Mason and Andy Talr applied McGregor’s theory Y approach to resolve any possible and unexpected threats from the personnel. However, Andy emphasized on a theory that business was a recognizable brand among the clientele community who expectedly would show loyalty to the company’s offers as far as the personnel was quick to access the clients promptly. Andy’s approach posed as an excerpt of the theory Y as it forced employees to seek the willing and able clients, while executing the approach in a friendly manner (Hiriyappa, 48). Eventually, Andy failed to acquire the desired goals and objectives thus; he implemented a contrast to the desired goals after establishing unpredictable enterprise service quality index (ESQi) that failed upon his decree to the personnel to approach clients. On the contrary, Sally Mason was instrumental in expressing McGregor’s theory Y attributes in executing performance of the company. Findings from the company’s past records implement that Sally’s laxity in implementing regulations to the personnel on the basis upon which they were supposed to undertake profitable business programs, was a contributing factor to the lack of performance in the company. As the vice president to Talent LLC Company, I seek establish strong support from the personnel group with an aim of acquiring the long-term set of plans (Phillips, and Stanley 47). The theory Y of McGregor is likely to serve appropriately in taming the employees’ performances to acquisition of the desired goals and objectives. Most probably, application of the theory shall entail incorporation of express mandate to ensure that employees engage in their specific performances, whilst ensuring a friendly coexistence to ease any fear of oppression. The approaches shall serve appropriately in ensuring group relations and sharing of ideas aimed at improving services performance of the organization. Adoption of the theory serves as important in acknowledging and ensuring that all employees perform tasks as per the stipulated directions and towards the set objectives. The theory further induces an approach to the employees with the motive to eradicate any chances of monotony and implementing positive engagement strategy. The theoretical approaches shall serve perfectly in ensuring positive involvement of the employees, and acquiring all their potentials for mutual benefits (Adler, and Allison 38). Justification of the selected approaches and establishment of the most appropriate one to ensure employees’ support and work efficiency The first theoretical approach on ensuring an environment that upholds and expresses the needs and values the employees serves to perfectly resolve any possible misunderstandings in the organization. For example, the approach suppresses dominance of the management in decision making and leads to consultation of the employees’ opinions upon any intended decision by the management. A close review to the contributive approach establishes of the general knowledge that employees are the company’s internal environment factor which mingles with the external environment and obtains different views. These views may be relevant or irrelevant to the Talent LLC Company thus; the enlightened and independent employees will likely present the most appropriate aspects to effect decision-making and implementation of competitive strategies to recuperate from initial losses in market share and ensure a lead in the market. The involvement strategy serves effectively in motivating the employees, for instance, the management shall perceive positive changes in performance upon realizing that their contributions were implemented into the company’s decisions (Phillips, and Stanley 48). The most appropriate approach to tackle employees’ involvement and support for attainment of positive goals rests on the personnel management practices. It is of essence for a manager to realize the existence of employees and applaud their efforts in performing work oriented tasks. Continued appraisal serves as a factor of motivation to the employees and eventually enhances chances to acquisition of the set objectives (Adler, and Allison 56). Management should ensure beneficial approach to the factor through emphases to the employees on the importance held on their performance and the significance born to the organizational goals. The approach is vital as it further enables the management to establish the areas upon which clarity is not exhibited and employees underperform because of the lack of knowledge. In reflection to the Talent LCC Company prospects, former management concentrated on performance rather than positive approaches to steer motivation and acquire support from employees. Finally, the approach of ensuring that all performances target on acquisition of the set organizational goals and objectives is the most appropriate for application in organizations. Specifically, the Talent LLC Company shall yield desirable implications on management because the employees and the managers shall eventually achieve their common and organizational goals. Through the approach, the management and the employees reflect an understanding of the goals and plans. Further, the company shall avoid organizational conflicts as the employees become the central part of the organization. Whenever the employees unify in accordance to the managerial teambuilding strategies, there is likeliness that they will support the organizational plans and objectives (Adler, and Allison 54). Lastly, the approach shall acquaint managers with credible supervisory criteria and all performances shall be scrutinized to ascertain the extent at which organizational goals are targeted.
