The globalization has led to the way culture and ideas spread across the globe; thus contributing to universal culture. Therefore, Americanization may lead to a homogenized world because of globalization issues that bring the society together; thus creating a global village. Globalization has led to a homogenous world in which many societies have become a global village. Globalization, which includes use of technology advancement in producing the economic goods, has contributed to increased influence of American culture.

Pells (246) argues that globalization has led to greater impact on other people’s cultures. This is because the American culture has shaped people’s values and tastes especially in the global business market. The civilizing producers of America find themselves competing highly with their competitors from other nations; thus shaping other culture’s values. For instance, American nation is said to be the leading producers of innovative products that are of high quality; thus competitive in the market.

These products are highly marketable in the foreign countries than the local products; thus an indication that the world culture is becoming more transformed to American lifestyles. Moreover, globalization is influencing the intimate and personal aspects of the lifestyles of people. It has transformed traditional social structure; thus, many of them are under the strain of transformation from traditional values to westernization (Giddnes 18). For instance, the debates about family values that are going through many countries are creating transformation across cultures.

Women across the globe are claiming for equality, something that is seen as global revolution. The international revolution consequences are felt across the sphere starting from the workplace to politics. Many people belief that globalization is just pulling the power or influence away from the traditional societies into the global arena
