According to Wikipedia.com: “In 1969, Davis introduced the electric instrument approach to jazz with In a Silent Way, … Daviss first fusion album.”Fusion style Jazz developed rapidly in the 1970’s and 80’sand most of the music was performed by bands. Davis also took the music to a higher level during this period. This time there was a fusion between Jazz and Funk and Jazz and R&B as the popularity of rock music declined. In the 1990’s other elements of music was added as fusion style Jazz continued to make an impact.
