Stereotypes are a very common part and parcel of being affiliated with any nationality around the world. Germans have a number of stereotypes by which they may be characterized by people all around the world. Most people think that Germans are very rude by nature because of their crude behavior and burly bodies, however, looks are not everything. They possess a number of positive characteristics as well. Some of the positive attributes that they possess are having a knack for efficiency, being extremely friendly, and speaking very good English. These traits are present in a number of Germans all around the world and have made them very popular the world over. When compared with Americans, the last two traits are common in both nationalities.

Americans do not possess extreme efficiency like Germans do; Germans have a knack for engineering and mechanical education. They have some of the world’s best scientific and mechanical educational institutions as well where people go to study from all around the world. They are very friendly as well, whereas most Americans would not bother to stop and talk to foreigners. Germans have been known to take time out in order to interact with other people and love to show off all the beauty that their country possesses. However, it is quite obvious that both Americans and Germans speak good English because of their affinity towards the language. Thus, Germans possess these positive attributes or traits within them and they may be compared to Americans on the basis of the same.
