Instead of encouraging the private business organizations to be a part of social entrepreneurs, European counterparts such as in the case of UK encourages the public sectors to be involved in social entrepreneurship. For this reason, the UK government has created a legislation and unique policy framework that will support further improvements on social entrepreneurship (i.e. Community Interest Companies (CICs)) (Hulgard, 2010, p. 13).
