Architect of the Century Frank Lloyd Wright Introduction: Hey, today the topic I have selected for my speech is Frank Lloyd Wright, the “Architect of the Century” who made a long-lasting name in his profession by constructing some historical buildings across the globe but mostly in Chicago that is The United States of America. The lesson for us in this speech is that one should select a profession where his/her capabilities will shine. Body: Main Point: The person who was considered the architect of the century was Frank Lloyd Wright who was born on June 8th, 1867 in Rich Land Center Wisconsin. He was a follower of Prairie School Architect with a modern and natural touch. He constructed many historical buildings famous among them the Robie House, Taliesin, Imperial Hotel Tokyo, Unity Temple in Oak Park, and many more. Sub point 1: Life During early life his family was frequently shifting from one place to another. When he was 12 years old he used to spend his summer with his mother’s family in Spring Green.

He was an outdoorsy child and that is why he loved the natural beauty. His love for natural beauty is prominent in his construction designs. In 1885 he graduated from Public School in Madison and got enrolled in the University of Wisconsin at Madison to study civil engineering.
