Extract of sample "The Roles and Functions of a Professional Nurse"

Once I have had completed my coursework, I will have the opportunity to perform as a professional nurse, given the experiences I will have had acquired during my residency. I will be able to care for ill patients. I will be in a position to work with other caregivers (physicians, nurses, administrators) in the health environment.Due to the fact that there is a shortage of nurses worldwide, I will be in a position to be one of those people who will be graced to help others in their healthcare needs.

I want to learn as much as possible at the Texas Christian University so that when I graduate I will put into praxis that which I learned in theory. I want to be able to continue doing research so that I am able to help others in need.I want to be at the forefront of so many needed professional nurses. I want to help in the development of better strategies to make sure that the patient is receiving the best healthcare possible and that the new professional nurses feel that when they enter the nursing field, they will feel that they are being appreciated, helped, and taken under the wing to perform as best they are able to.

I do not want to be another nursing student. I do not want to be another professional nurse. I want to be able to make a difference with other colleagues in the healthcare environment. I hope you will give me the opportunity of becoming a professional nurse.
