Without water, we have absolutely nothing.

Five hundred thousand to Seven million people get sick because of the contaminated water in the United States. The belief that the water in your taps and showers is clean is entirely erroneous. Here, the safety of some of the most basic things is contradicted. Where water is, bacteria and germs will also be present.

Industrial and agricultural use of water has led to more water being required by plants to grow the same amount that they would have grown with five to ten times less water. Animal remains are dumped by slaughterhouses and our toilet water is recycled so that we end up drinking it. If our planet’s water supply continues to be exploited and misused in this way, man will cease to exist.

Companies can somehow ‘’buy’’ water. Taking water and selling it at high prices while simultaneously depriving the poor population of this basic necessity of life is simply unethical. Companies deprive the people of water after purchasing it as though it is private property and then selling it to only those who can afford it. And if the image of endless women waiting in line for water wasn’t heart-rendering enough, the babies born with birth defects most definitely are. Companies rob, cheat and lie to gain as much profit as they possibly can. If this situation does not get better, then the world will face what Cochabamba did. An inevitable worldwide water war just might be on the horizon.

Water companies like Nestle pump water from areas like Michigan, leaving the locals thirsty. But the brave inhabitants refused to take this standing down. They raised a cry for justice and succeeded in reducing the damage Nestle was doing and providing inspiration for all water warriors.

Whatever governments claim, their ‘’help’’ for these people is just talk. In truth, water is only being provided to the elite class of countries. The water they provide is unaffordable for many people and though they claim it is only two miles away, 70,000 inhabitants of Bomminampadu died because of dirty drinking water.

The comparison between the lowest class and the upper class makes a person realize just how much they have in life. It is shocking to know that the things we take for granted are things other people all over the world are struggling for.

New technologies are helping overcome this water crisis. The Water Health UV Filtration has been an amazing contribution to this cause, saving many lives and helping countless people gain access to clean and pure drinking water.

Many water companies disguise tap water as bottled water which individuals all over the world drink. Many organizations are working to spread awareness, especially about how the World Bank is gaining controlling countries through their control over water.

Rivers Ganga is under threat because of pollution. The building of dams has displaced the inhabitants of the areas and they have been forced to relocate. Therefore, the preservation of water is also causing problems. The man who went to a village to teach but ended up bearing witness to the problem and solution of water shortage has a truly passionate opinion on the matter.

The documentary is concluded after a man states that when the poor undergo such injustice, it will surely cause civil unrest between them. Water is irreplaceable. We must stand together and fight for this right. It makes us realize just how serious this situation is and if nothing is done to prevent it then the result will be a calamity for future generations. The optimistic words that we can overcome this predicament should serve as a goal for people everywhere today.
