Child abuse can occur at every cultural line and socioeconomic level (Clark 58). Some of the pivotal reasons for the occurrence of child abuse are lack of resources, stress of caring children, marital conflict, deficiency of maturity and isolation from family.
Neglect is the form of child abuse which refers to as the failure of parents to provide child. It can also be considered as the failure of caretakers to provide the fundamental needs of a child. Neglect of a child may include concerns of medical care, education, housing, clothing and adequate amount of food. Lack of nurture, love and adequate supply of necessities for the survival of child are experienced by neglected children.
