Government Conspiracies Involved in The BP Oil Spill The government conspiracy involved in the BP oil spill begins with a plot of land. In OK panhandle lies a large tract of land that is known to be over a large oil resource that covers a vast area. This large area is owned by private entities and some companies. BP is one of the biggest companies in the world that deals with the petroleum business. It has covered the whole world and supplies petroleum products to virtually every major city in the world. Therefore the interest of BP to this area is undisputed. Since the early 1920s BP owned most of this oil rich piece of land. This is due to the fact the presence of oil on the piece of land was discovered long before and therefore BP sought to acquire this. BP being an old company has been going all over the world searching for areas that are rich in oil. This crude oil is then refined to products such as diesel, premium, regular, and paraffin and cooking gas which is then sold to consumers. Consumers around the globe are increasing day in day out as the world population increases and therefore the demand for petroleum products is in turn rising which has also led to the rise of the price of petroleum products. This has been to a great benefit to BP. However, due to this increased population BP has had to find other ways to acquire oil in order to feed this population and meet their demand. BP being a multinational corporation has therefore established oil wells all over the world where they obtain their crude oil from and refine it into usable petroleum products. BP has gone as far as constructing oil wells that are offshore where they also derive crude oil from. The oil spill in my view came to coincidentally with their sale of land to Phillips why would BP just give up such a piece of land that had so much potential in that this piece of land would bring them so much revenue overnight .This would definitely make them millionaires as during this period there is a very high demand for oil all over the world due to the increased population especially in Asia. India which has a population of a billion people and China which also has a population of over a billion people has led to the increased demand of oil and petroleum products in general all over the world. Therefore prices for these products have shot up. This would therefore mean that these petroleum products would make them millionaires overnight as the demand is high and the selling price is also high. I believe there is a conspiracy behind the oil spill whereby prior to the oil spill BP had been involved in business with Goldman Sachs which is an investment bank company, and the Goldman CEO. According to this association BP was already preparing for the oil spill whereby it was using the services of the investment bank in order to sell is stocks to prepare for the manmade disaster that was to come. They sold the stocks as after the oil spill they would have a lot of financial backlog and therefore their stocks would go down. BP was also seen to be in close contact with Blacklight powers technology whereby they are a company that deals with free clean energy. I believe they want to capture the whole energy industry with this company. The oil spill was for the purpose of showing the world that oil and petroleum products are a bad thing and therefore completely demoralize the petroleum industry. The pictures of animals dying in the, birds being unable to fly and the general effects to the environment was used to turn people away from oil and petroleum products to their new found energy source that was going to be more better, cleaner and safer than oil. Another factor that led me to believe that there was a conspiracy behind this was the fact that Bp barred any photographers or camera crew to get anywhere near the sight of the oil spill which was an effort for not allowing us to actually find out the actual factor that caused the oil spill. This oil rich piece of land that has been on the hands of BP for very many decades was vended to Phillip petroleum just before the oil spill. This leaves a lot of unanswered questions due to the fact that. BP had a one year lease on this piece of land from Phillips grandfather. The contract gave BP rights over the land. During this period there was a lot of natural gas emanating from this piece of land. This gas to Phillips grandfather was seen as a nuisance and back then BP also did not have the use of the gas as industries then still used coal power and other traditional power generating methods. Little did they know that this natural gas rich land was a gold mine. This natural gas is now used in almost every household I the world for cooking and also in most companies for welding. Natural gas is used for many other purposes and can be clearly put under a billion dollar business. However with time BP began to realize the potential of the land. Little did Phillip’s grandfather know that he was foregoing the opportunity of being a multi-millionaire If his grandfather was even only getting a small percentage of the sales of the natural gas which with time became a billion dollar business whereby the products of refined natural gas were being exported all over the world he would been a millionaire ten times over as the sales were supernormal especially after the discovery of gas as a cooking agent and also for various industrial activities. However, his grandfather saw as BP doing him a favor as they got rid of the natural gas that he found to be irritating as it prevented proper farming it had a harmful effect to the health of livestock and human beings in general. Therefore, according to him he thought that he owed BP for the generous work that they were doing for him even as they paid him a small fee as they made billions of dollars. Phillips who now has the right to the land is not able to do anything with the piece of the land as the government has declared the land a reserved site. Therefore Phillips has no right to excavate the land and be able to dig out the vast amount of oil that is found beneath this land. This oil which is speculated to be of very high amount could be excavated and this could be sold in terms of crude oil or refined oil by them which would generate a lot of income for them. However for the reason that this land has been declared a reserved premise bars them from practicing any such thing. All they have is the right to mine the natural gas which is now almost completely depleted and hence this is not very profitable if they were to mine thisnatural gas a few decades ago it would have been very profitable whereby during this time people had just began to use gas for cooking in their households and also industries began to use gas I performing some industrial operations as they saw this energy source as being cheap. Therefore, there was a high demand for this natural gas which meant that the price was at its optimum at that time and the only cost they would have incurred would be that of extraction. This would have meant they would be making supernormal profits everyday. However, in the period of 10 years they will receive full rights to this property and therefore after this they will surely be able to mine the oil. This would definitely make them millionaires as during this period there is a very high demand for oil all over the world due to the increased population especially in Asia.
