It is important to highlight that a refugee camp is an area that is set aside by the governments in their various states for the purpose of accommodating of the refugees. Refugees on the other hand are individuals who have flown away from their usual places of residence and settled in other areas. The purposes for the flying away could be political instability in the area, harsh climatic conditions, famines and drought, diseases and epidemics happening in a particular area as well as insecurity. This is also as a result of the parents forcing the kids to look after the other children that are for the case of girls while the boys forced to go and look for food or money by engaging themselves in some duties for the rich (Lily, 2004). This therefore means that the level of illiteracy in such areas is quite here and therefore remedies need to be taken into consideration for the better of the city. The stronger individuals in these cities are always manipulating the weak and the weak also have to boot lick the stronger who could possibly be the rich or people associated with the political leaders in certain areas. These strong are always the political affiliates of the leading persons in the countries or various regions. These are also some of the reasons that make life more tough and unbearable in these are some f the reasons that make this kind of life so tight and unbearable to very many individuals in so many refugee camps (Benn, 2012). It is also important to highlight that in most of the cases these refugee camps are always triggered by the political instability in the various states. Again it is as well noted that most of the political instability situations are always so rampant in the developing countries, that is to say third world countries. These countries have not fully stabilized and in many cases they tend to struggle so much over the resources in various locations in the countries. Fir the case of the Syrian case, it is important to highlight that the war that erupted in the country led to the massive displacement of the various people from their normal areas of residence (Lily, 2004). Statistics that are in the United Nations record has it that these people were almost three million who flew away from their country. This is therefore a call for the provision of a lasting solution to the case of the Syrian citizens. The various managers in the refugee camps therefore have to take keen management roles in ensuring that these temporary cities for the accommodation of the people in various places within the areas of concern. It is important to note that exiles in a particular may arise at given intervals. This could be after every five years, or even decades in a given area (Benn, 2012). It is also important to highlight that in the temporary cities, there are other challenges that are faced by the residents of these particular cities. Under this, it is important to note that these residents fall victims of various diseases that are as a result of the environmental concerns in the cities. It is important for the citizens of the various third world countries to engage themselves in the creation of self employments. This is for the better of the life of the citizens to enable them not to engage themselves in the illegal activities. Lack of jobs is consequently another factor that can as well lead to the citizens moving to certain areas to seek employment opportunities. This can as well lead to the creation of shanty buildings in the various urban centers as well as the development of refugee camps. These temporary cities have challenges that are caused as a result of the poor drainage systems as well as the poor garbage disposal (Benn, 2012). It is important to note that environmental pollution is a contemporary issue that is to be considered in the development of any city or town. Under this case of the temporary cities, it is clearly evident that these cities are greatly affected by this challenge. The occupancy of the people in the given areas is a very major factor that is always looked at when it comes to the planning issues of urban cities. It is important to note that the high number of the people and the small space of occupation is therefore the major reasons that lead to the poor disposal of wastes in the right places of disposal. In regards to politics, it is clearly evident that in a democratic state, there is always the value that a vote from an individual has. It therefore means that every vote counts. This therefore means that if the person who suffers in these temporary cities loses life, it would therefore mean that that single vote is lost and the voice is therefore not heard (Benn, 2012). It is also worth noting that in the case of developing the temporary cities, many refugees who quickly own up and adapt to the situation are always very vital in the development of the various facilities in the camps that they are hosted in. this is so because of the fact that some of them were actively in business in the original places that they were living in. however, because of the occurrence of the various calamities, they fled to these refugee camps to seek refuge. They are therefore the ones in the refugee camps who begin to start businesses to sustain their living besides the relief and supports that they get (Benn, 2012). In the refugee camps, it is important to acknowledge the fact that most of the sustenance of the people living in there are always financed and cared for by the government as well as the other nongovernmental organizations that are in various countries and locations. These are always very key organs when it comes to the matters that concern the welfare of the refugees. It is important to note that the government is always providing the general support and to be specific, the government plays the largest role concerning the welfare of the refugees. This is the sense that the security measures that are within the camp is taken care of by the governments’ in the various countries. These facilities are considered to be very essential in the life of human beings for healthy living as well as survival as in the picture (Robert, 2012). This would therefore call for the need for the establishment of certain shops by certain entrepreneurs. This would thereby lead to the coming up of an establishment of a market like environment. Many would therefore start to invest in these camps and with time, a lot of trading activities happen in these camps hence leading to the formation or coming up of a town through a refugee camp. With time therefore the refugee camp therefore begins to have well developed road networks or railway networks depending on the mode of transport that is commonly used in an area or country. One of the precautionary measures that should always be taken note of by the people living in the refugee camps is the areas are always very prone to the children and even the youth being lured and then recruited into the militia trainings by certain forces that work against the governments of the various nations. This is therefore posing a great threat to the citizens of the particular countries. It is important to note that the security of a country is always a responsibility of the general public despite the government forces being put in place. The citizens should also make the security of the various places reliable (Lily 2004). An area or a country that is peaceful or safe is an ideal location for the various forms of investment activities. It is therefore important for the parents of the children as well as the youth in these temporary cities to be very cautious with their children, they should instill high levels of discipline to the children and in the case that there would be some form of suspicion in the area that the place is in a threat or danger of being attacked, it would therefore be quite ideal for the parents and even the other persons in the temporary cities to make arrangements and report the matter to the nearest security personnel for the area. It is also ideal for the residents in these cities to know their neighbors well and that they should check on one another. This is usually done by the refugees organizing a joint meeting of their own and they then strategize on certain factors that they consider very crucial and sensitive for their living. They then collect the funds and then make purchases for the items that they want. This they do after they had chosen one out of them to de like their leader in the camp and then whatever bought is shared by the refugees (Robert, 2012). It is also important to note that this same representative that is chosen by the refugees in the camp is therefore the leader who presents most of the issues that affect the refugee welfare while in the camp. He or she thereby is responsible for the refugees’ actions while in the camp and as well act as the elder is accorded the respect by all the refugees to enable the person to execute the leadership roles effectively in the camp. Again this is also how leadership roles also begin in the temporary city and so it could possibly continue to the larger capacity. This would eventually lead to leadership growing to a larger extent. It is important to highlight some activities that at some time happen in the various refugee camps. Being in the camp, the wealthy persons in the camp would be forced to sell the facilities and other resources that they own. These resources could possibly be in their initial places and they sell them while they are in the camp just to enable them survive in the camp. The life in these places is not that easy and many would be forced to do the unexpected. At certain points, some families would force their children who are girls into early marriages that are against the wish of the children and even violating the children rights. This is with the reason that they are trying to reduce the burden of the family in terms of spending habits and expenditure (Josef, 2004). These are some great challenges that the girl children in these temporary cities undergo while they are in the camps. The mothers of the children would also be forced to engage in sexual exchange to get certain resources and in the process the various sexually transmitted infections spread across the whole temporary camp.
