 My name is Juliet Dan and I am fresh nurse graduate from the West Coast University. I hereby apply for a new graduate program in the institution’s hospital. I am hard working, fast learner and good communication skills to enable join the program and care for the patients. Furthermore, I have a passion for nursing professional. I can speak and write fluent French and English I have several nursing skills and experience from my attachment scheme in the Ontario General Hospital, West Coast University home for the older adults and West Coast Hospital. I learnt of the nursing-patient relations, as part of nursing legal and ethics, Emergency preparedness and response, dealing with handicapped patients and obeying their rights and working for longer hours incase of emergencies among other experiences. I played an active role during my attachment and at some instance I was appointed a team leader for emergency response team. I have good coordination skills with other team members and this contributed to our good tribute during the exercise. I have good experience in the nursing technologies ranging from the patients registry to the actual nursing unit. I am good with Microsoft project management and Microsoft office among other relevant software. I also have good customer care as well as social skills to enable me create good relations with the patients and my fellow health care professionals. I have volunteered in various health care community projects and this has enhanced my team work skills and experience. I have various academic and vocational awards from my university and the community as a whole. I have Florence Nightingale Award from my excellent performance in Pharmacology and disaster management. I scored good grades in my courses as indicated in the attached transcripts. I managed to be in the dean of students’ list in several occasions for my excellent performance and general discipline. Furthermore, I was named the whole round student, with regard to be good performances in my academics and extra-curricular activities. I played hockey and was a member of drama club.
