Mnemonic, is the second term to be defined and should not require an extensive background on memory. As Mnemonics is a broad spectrum term several examples should be provided, with specific reference to rhymes and acronyms. Section 2) This section will highlight a memory tool from the video I plan to use that I believe would be helpful. A) From this perspective, Mnemonic is an excellent tool to highlight insofar as there are several subcategories of Mnemonics. B) Rhyming, Acronyms, play on words, etc can all be highlighted with specific reference as to how a typical user could benefit from their usage. Section 3) This section will discuss one memory tool from the video that you already feel you use that is helpful to you. A) Rehearsing new information without distraction is a simple technique highlighted in the film. B) In this section of the paper, the benefits of repetition should be discussed with specific reference to repeating words, sentences, music pieces etc.

Section 4) This section of the paper will discuss the different types of memory with specific reference to which type is the most effective for studying for a test. A)Short term memory should be discussed and defined. From this perspective, it should be highlighted that all information must pass through the short term memory so that it can be filtered into long term memory meaning that the information can only be held for a short amount of time. Moreover, one of the major shortcomings of this type of memory is that it is not an effective means of studying for a test. B) Long term memory should be discussed and defined in this section of the paper with specific reference to how it has been postulated that this type of memory is formed much like an interwoven network that can combine information from many different sources and as such is an effective type of memory for writing a test.
