Organizational Climate of Describe whether your organization is enlightened. Having a clear understanding of what the climate of an enlightened organization should be, am with no doubt that my organization is enlightened. This is simply because the working conditions within the organization are favorable to almost all employees. Though a few individuals have presented complaints, the problems facing them are so minor and are attended to within the shortest time possible. The communication systems are very open and in fact bottom-up communication style is encouraged where employees get a chance to present their views on what they think is best for the organization.

With such favorable climate, employees have been made to be loyal and also to explore their full potential (Manning & Curtis, 2003). Employees always feel motivated when doing their work and can even work overtime because they enjoy being within the organization premises. Describe the features of your organization that indicate which kind of organization it is. To start with, roles and responsibilities are spelt out clearly in this organization right from the statement of its mission and vision.

Moreover, communication is very vital in any form of social organization since it brings about understanding. My organization has effective communication at its core ensuring that information within the organization flows freely. In addition, the friendly relationships that are experienced among the people working in the organization create a mood of relaxation and a feeling of contentment within individuals. Leadership styles adopted by the organization are also very encouraging and motivating as many people are ready and always willing to take up leadership positions.

Finally, those individuals who have done well are continually apprised and rewarded in order to motivate them (Manning & Curtis, 2003). Describe five steps your organization could take to become better and move up in the scale.Although the organization has done a lot in creating a working environment that is conducive, it needs to put more emphasis on some of its strategies so that it can grow and develop. Firstly it needs to put more emphasis on training its human resource. Through this it will give its staff members an opportunity to explore their full potential.

The organization has not also explored the use of expertise in its production processes. Expertise can lead to innovations and inventions that are likely to lead to the organizational growth. Despite the fact that the organization has numerous ways of reaching its market, it needs to come up with new and better marketing strategies. Furthermore, it needs to move at the pace of modern technology so as to avoid lagging behind. Finally, it needs to employ a differentiation strategy that will make its products better and distinct so as to gain a competitive advantage over its rivals (Manning & Curtis, 2003).

Do you think it is likely that this kind of change could happen in your organization? Why or why not? I am very positive this change can be realized within the shortest time possible if it is well implemented. With the kind of focused leadership that the organization has combined together with a very dedicated staff, the change is forth coming. All that the organization needs is to go to the drawing board and identify all that they need in order to realize the change. Thereafter, a well and realistic strategic plan outlining all that needs to be done will be set (Manning & Curtis, 2003).

Then the leaders will guide the rest of the organization towards the attainment of its vision within the time stipulated. ReferencesManning, G., & Curtis, K. (2003). The art of leadership. New York: McGraw-Hill/Irwin.
