There is a lot of teasing due to the physical changes hence also affecting academic performance. According to Jose Carmona et, students showed dissatisfaction about their bodies in this stage Middle adolescence is characterized by romantic fantasies by both male and female students. This will result in inadequate focus in class hence negatively affecting education. Early adulthood is characterized by students wanting to be more independent and this results in students not following rules or instructions due to their newly found autonomous nature resulting in poor academic performance in secondary schools.

Cognitive learning theory mainly focuses on the brain and explains why the brain is vital in the processing and general interpretation of information by human beings. According to Lauren B Resnick, the human mind now plays an integral part in education and scientific study. The cognitive learning theory can be divided into two; social cognitive theory and cognitive-behavioral theory. This theory has a great influence on the planning and delivery of lesson instruction. Cognitive learning theorists believe that teaching and learning is a process in itself and learning mainly relies on the students’ conceptualization.

It is discovered that the learning process mainly relies upon the students’ memory. Learning takes place based on what the student already knows as the teacher builds on what is not known. Therefore the planning and delivery of lesson instruction should mainly focus on introducing new ideas and building on what the learner already knows. Technology plays a major role in the understanding of various concepts in education. This has greatly resulted in a lot of teachers employing technological tools in their respective classes while teaching.

These tools ease the passing of information by simplifying difficult concepts, reducing workload, and also helping by giving out vivid or clear details about certain concepts in education that would be otherwise difficult to explain. Some of these technological tools include; calculating tools, which are mainly calculators used to simplify and solve difficult and long mathematical problems.
