I believe self-confidence to be the urge to believe in myself. Most individuals often lack self-confidence and the confidence to lead a joyous and robust life in our society. Confidence can also be described as fulfillment in oneself. In this world, every person ought to have confidence in themselves to believe they can do something great. Individually, I'm in a position where I strive to acquire all the self- esteem and needed to be loyal and happy in life. Here is a self-confidence essay.

Self-confidence can never be taught in schools. A person must choose how much belief they have in themselves to do certain things in life. It would be best if you believed in yourself for the next person to believe in you. Self-confidence can also be compared to the happiness of grief. These are feelings that nobody teaches us. Therefore we have to develop self-reliance as we grow mentally, spiritually, and physically. We could also further classify self-confidence into simpler traits such as:

  • False self-confidence
  • Temporary self-confidence
  • True self-confidence

Temporary self-confidence shows when a person speaks and tries to act like a big gun, while in the real sense, they have almost zero self-confidence. This can be either positive or negative to different individuals. The positive effect of this is when a person is trying to build his confidence. False self-reliance, on the other hand, it could affect someone negatively if he/she fakes it too much. There is a famous quote, "fake it till you make it," which is very applicable in temporary self-confidence. False self-esteem has a positive impact since it encourages people to build up their confidence regardless of the challenges they face.

Other aspects of temporary self-confidence are that it can show people that you are full of yourself. In some cases, people fake self-confidence so that they may not be seen as weak or scared. By continuously faking it, one gains self-confidence.  In the long run, false self-esteem has a positive impact on their lives.

The other aspect of self-confidence is temporary confidence. This type of confidence occurs when you achieve something and get too much excited. By so doing, you end up believing yourself. After getting this award or opportunity, the confidence in you grows too much, or you take it too far and turn out to be a risk. Remember, too much of something is poisonous. When you get too excited, there are some risks since you are in a temporary condition. However, this may have a positive or negative impact on you. Temporary confidence may help you achieve more things in life or lose everything you had.

The last aspect of self-confidence is known as true confidence. This is the self-belief that is not reliant on the most recent triumphs. It entails the self-trust you have.  When a person has true certainty, he does the right thing and is not swayed by the achievement outcomes. He is always true to himself. Individuals with this aspect of true- confidence act on what profits them and trust they are doing the correct thing no matter what society says. In the long-run, they reap positive results.

In conclusion, these three aspects of self-confidence play a significant role in the growth of a human being and most importantly, true confidence. Each of them has its advantages and also implications. We propose individuals to have true confidence in whatever they do, whether in school or their workplaces. It pays to believe in yourself since you will give other people a chance to have faith in you. Focus on yourself as a person, don't listen to what people say, and reap the benefits.
