The past two years have seen Woody fall unusually dizzy. He has further noticed that his palms have been sweating frequently (Kauffman, 2011). Moreover, Woody has had episodes of stomach aches as well as shortness of breath (SOB). Woody’s colleagues have also noticed that he has become nervous and that his mouth is always dry. Woody himself has established that he has been experiencing incidences of muscle tension. The symptoms have compromised Woody’s capacity to maintain focus on his engagements at work. However, there are periods when these symptoms do not affect him.

Woody has also displayed a tendency to be worried. He is worried about his wife, who just about managed to survive cancer. He also thinks about the future of his parents and kids should he get sacked or die. In addition, Woody has been feeling paranoid of late. He has become delusional, thinking about accidents and how to avoid them. The way he performs at work is also another area that Woody is concerned about, although a review proved that he does not have to worry.

Although he was a sexually active man, Woody started showing shifts in his sexual life a couple of months ago. According to his wife, he has displayed minimal sexual interest. The history of his past relationship does not indicate any form of abuse. Neither did he ever have a divorce since this is his first and only wife. Therefore, this situation can only be linked to the present condition.

However, Woody’s current situation may have its links to his days in college. He had a difficult time with his peers, who accused him of a variety of things. He only had a single friend in all of his years in college. The bullying by his peers made him lose self-esteem at some point in life. The situation deteriorated further when his only friend- the person who was always there for him - wrongly accused him of snatching his girlfriend. Following this happenstance, he suffered most of the above-mentioned symptoms. He went to a hospital but no diagnoses or treatments were done.

Woody also suffers from diabetes. He was diagnosed with this condition when he was in college. Doctors linked it to the stress that he was undergoing back then. Consequently, he had to be admitted when the situation became severe. Ever since he has been under medication. The doctors prescribed Chlorpropamide commonly known as Diabinese, and this is what he has been taking (Ritzer, 1999). The drugs have to be acquired through purchasing. This may have exacerbated the worth nature that Woody has had, especially about the possibility of him losing his job.
