The way people think, feel, do things and relate to other people is different from one person to another. People have different personality, and this influence the way they relate to other people. The most important thing is usually how we learn to control our personality by the use of various resources and strategies and not allowing it to be in control. This paper tries to explain my relation style and how it affects other people. Body The most important thing is usually to understand ourselves first before we try to understand other people. We have to understand our strengths, potential strengths and limitations. By doing so, we are able to tell the kind of people we are, the type of people we want others to see, and the type that we are capable of being. We are capable of understanding ourselves through an analysis. It is through analysis that one can be able to gauge his strengths and weakness. People usually do have different personalities and they show them differently depending on the situation they are in, for instance, when people are in problems they tend to be frightened while others tend to be calm. Some react differently to matters for example, one can shout aloud when irritated while others are usually quiet. From this, we find that different people have different characters and that others are capable of controlling them while others allow their personality to take control of them. It is usually important that we are able to control our personality, since they really influence the way we relate to other people. Once someone is able to control personality, then they can dictate the type of people they are. For instance, a very temperal person who is able to control their temper is able to show people what he or she wants them to see about him. He is able to control the temper and make people think that he is a not really tempered. Through anger management program, they are able to learn ways to control their anger issues and be the type of person they want to be. By being able to control your personality, you can be able to relate to different people who have different personalities too. This makes it possible to learn more and understand those people and also relate well with them (Spencer, 2010). In a situation where someone who had anger management problems, and has gone through therapy comes across someone with such issues, they are to relate well with them since he or she has been in similar situation and knows exactly how the other people feel and what they are capable of doing. They will talk and try to agree with most of the issues they say so as to make the ill tempered person feel comfortable. This really makes its possible to have conversation with them and be able to understand what they are going through so as to able to help them out of the situation or problem that they are facing. People normally have different “versions” or character. At all times, it is best if we have the God’s version. God is perfect and He created us in His own image, so his is supposed to imply that we are perfect. Even thought we cannot be perfect as God, it is better if we try to be at our best. We should try as much as possible to live a perfect life as God would want us too. This comes with a lot of challenges since there are a lot of temptations, and issues that revolve around us that make us to forget the type of life we are supposed to live. A simple example is where we are supposed ...Show more
