Religion is an important part of my culture and is a massive part of my heritage. Catholicism is the main religion in Ecuador. I was raised in a Catholic family, and it is the religion that I practice today. The roman church religion has a massive influence on my people, and I experienced it first-hand. When I was small, it was very important for other children and me to go through all the religious sacraments. It meant attending all training arranged by my parish. Also, I got used to going to church every Sunday, which was a tradition that taught me to respect my religion.

Even though I recognize and respect other religions, growing up in a religious family has massively affected my beliefs and allowed me to grow spiritually. One of the biggest things in Catholicism is respect for all Catholic religious holidays. These days are important celebrations, and they are glorified by my family. And the birth of Christ, which is usually on the 25th of December, is one of the most commemorated and valued holidays in our culture.

In the modern era, many people associate this event with folktales and gift-giving from Santa Clause, who is at the North Pole.
