Extract of sample "Assimilation and Pluralism"

Pluralism is nearly the same concept which is a characteristic of such a society where people are identified by their work and ability regardless of their creed, religion, and social belonging. Such a society can absorb people hailing from any part of the world. In the context of American society, today we see people of nearly all nationalities heading towards America as immigrants, or studentship, all these prefer it over many other countries just because of the kind of society it entails. It does not impose anything on any individual nor does it specify one particular mode of life that ought to be followed.

The main principles of American society are based on the nondiscriminatory approach, equal opportunities, and peaceful living with people who may hail from other backgrounds.Assimilation has been achieved to a considerable degree in American society as we can see people from different backgrounds walking around and working in the local offices and other places.
