The social network groups are a great help to the society as they promote the interest of the society and focuses on the need of the common people. The paper studies the two popular social networking groups based in UAE which are Red Crescent UAE and Dar al Ber society. The Red CrescentUAE is a member of the Red Cross and the Red Crescent Societies. The society plays a crucial role in delivering various charitable works in UAE and also in other parts of the world. On the other hand, Dar al Ber society also works for the humanitarian development with a focus on the religion of Islam. Pros of Red Crescent UAE The organization of Red Crescent UAE has various advantages in its favor. Firstly the organization is an affiliated body of the Red Cross agency, which adds to the brand name and the reputation of the company. The organization has efficiently carried out its humanitarian work over the years. Some other characteristics of the organization include the fact that the members of the organization act very swiftly and reaches the place of calamity in a short period of time which is of an immense benefit for the affected people. The organization not only has its presence in UAE but it has carries out its operation in a global platform. The members of the charitable organization are provided with adequate training to face any tough situation and some of the members also specialize in variety of rescue operations and pass on their knowledge and expertise to the new volunteers joining the organization. The overall structure of the organization and the strength is another added advantage which needs to be considered. The international presence of the organization will also help the members’to have a clear knowledge regarding various international humanitarian laws. The overall aims of the organization also highlights on promotion of peace which is one of the basic requirements in countries like UAE.1 . Cons of Red Crescent UAE: In spite of the global presence and the standard of the operation, the cons of the organization is that the entry into the organization requires a particular age criteria and the persons entering in the organization had to go through an evaluation process which is generally not considered by most of the other charitable organization. As a result of this strategy often the charity may lose out members who are keen to work for the benefit of the society. 2 Another cons noticed in the organization is the fact that the organization maintains its websites in Arabic language which prevents a large part of the society to view the content of the site and understand it. The organization also provides less attention towards the development of the society as a whole and primarily aims at providing relief to the people in matters of disaster. Opinion about Red Crescent UAE: Red Crescent UAE is one of the best charitable organizations based in UAE. The most important aspect of the organization is that it is being associated with the international Red Cross organization which provides lot of proficiency in its operation. The organization carries out lot of relief operation in matters of calamity and can be a vital organization which can carry effective social networking in the areas of UAE. Hover the strict principles of entry may not allow a considerable amount of people to be in the social networking arena if this organization is solely chosen for the purpose. Another important thing which needs to be considered is that the organization does not dedicate its operation for all the section of the society which may arise out to be a crucial limitation in social networking. Pros of Dar Al Ber: The charitable organization operated in all level of the society and works for the promotion of the overall society. The charitable organization assists the people in providing health facilities by providing them with hospitals and ambulance, contributes to the educational sector by building school and taking care of the underprivileged children of the society by providing them with orphanage. A large part of their program also contributes to the promotion of Islam religion. The representative of the organization comes from the different part of the society; as a result the needs of various class of the society are properly addressed by them. The Adahi campaign is one of the important tasks carried out by the charitable organization in the context 3 Cons of Dar Al Ber: Dar Al Ber works for the development of the humanitarian condition of the people of UAE. The cons of the organization lies in the fact that the organization is not affiliated by any international charitable organization and often faces the shortage of money to carry out its operations. The organization mainly runs on the donation from the civilians of UAE who contributes to the cause of the development of the society.4 As the organization is based in UAE, it has lesser amount of knowledge and experience in matters of providing humanitarian aid. The organization also has narrowed its operations by focusing largely on the up liftmen of the Islam religion by undertaking projects to build up mosques. The cons of the charitable organization also lie in the fact that the official website Maintained by them is in Arabic. The presence of the website in an international language would have dragged the attention of many. Opinion about Dar Al Ber: Dar Al Ber carries out its operation for the overall development of the society and has members from almost every part of the society. The enhancement of any social network depends on the strength of the masses and Dar Al Ber society suits the purpose. However the working of the organization for the enhancement of the religion may also act as a barrier for the strengthening of the network as people from other religion my lack the encouragement to participate in the social network. The absence of international exposure of the organization may also act as a hindrance in the overall effectiveness of the organization playing the role in creating a social network. Conclusion: Considering the view of social network in UAE, both the organizations can prove to be beneficial for the cause. Red Crescent UAE has the advantage of the association with the international Red Cross society and the creation of a social network by them will be beneficial in attracting many individuals. Besides, the Red Crescent UAE will able to deliver the needs of the people requiring aid in a short period of time. On the hand as most of the members of Dar Al Ber ranges from various parts of the society, so the network created by this charitable organization will spread across a wide section of the section and will address the need of the people accordingly. As any social network thrives on the presence of a wide variety of people from different section of the society, so a blend of both the organization will perfectly suit the purpose. The presence of both the organization will provide another advantage of addressing the social needs along with providing help in times of serious crisis which the organization may face. The prescience of international exposure and a brand value will be addressed by theRed Crescent UAE which will be one of the crucial factors for the success of social networking in UAE.
