People move towards prospects for life. Immigration is linked to the hominid spirit that seeks adventure, chases dreams, and discovers purposes to hope even during the most unfavorable situations. Such immigration affects the societies the migrants’ leave behind as well as the societies which receive these immigrants. This immigration also affects communities alongside the course of transit. The Catholic Social Service Immigration and Settlement is a non-governmental organization that provides quality care and enhance the wellbeing of immigrants within a spirit of solidarity, freedom, justice and compassion. The organization serves and employs persons of all cultures. This paper, therefore, will examine the social work practice of Catholic Social Service Immigration and Settlement Center. In the Catholic Social Service Immigration and Settlement, there is essentially a mutual adaptation of members within the host community and newcomers. Principally, the social workers in the organization ensure respect for the distinctive worth and inherent dignity for all immigrants.
