Gender, Age and Disability Education gained from schools and other learning institutions always play several critical roles in the lives of students as well as the community. The school education imparts a lot of knowledge to the students. Education may lead to gaining of knowledge concerning the role of peace within the communities (Colemann et al, 2014, 54). It is of critical importance to note that education has imparted me with a lot of information with regards to maintaining peace within the community. This has been critical in ensuring safety, conflict resolution as well as conflict prevention with regards to several factors that may disrupt the peace enjoyed by the different communities living together. A healthy relationship bears good social, political and economic fruits everywhere (Bercovitch and Jackson, 2009, 27). Healthy relationships within the communities living together is a crucial factor in bringing developments closer to the people. In addition, the nature of relationships that different communities share together is critical in ensuring growth and development of several sectors within those communities (Couts and Jokela, 2008, 59). As such, when different communities maintain good relationships, it is likely possible that the peace created within may act as a factor with tripling effects towards the leadership, businesses and other activities that act as the sources of livelihoods to those communities (Colemann et al, 2014, 29). It is of crucial significance to note that my learning has influenced the nature of relationships between my community and the neighboring communities. I have successfully utilized the information learned in class in practical ways within the community involving creation of awareness, teaching and advising the community members on such matters regarding the importance of staying in peace and harmony within and between the communities. The communities have adopted the teachings in a superb manner, thereby making the issue of peace, security and trust to reign amongst the different communities. This has also had some side benefits amongst the communities alongside the peace enjoyed. The peaceful relationships has led to increased business opportunities amongst the people within the communities as well as amongst the communities themselves. This has been so crucial in enhancing the rates of earning, thereby gaining money to pay fees for the little ones in school. The peaceful relationship that has been created has also ensured the continued developmental progress in the communities. It has improved as well as factored in the spirit of sharing of the resources in the most appropriate manner. It is of crucial significance to note that several community conflicts always emanate from sharing of natural resources. Some of these conflicts are always so much pronounced in such a manner that if not properly managed, can lead to long term enmity between the communities living together (Lohmann and Van, 2011, 72). As such, issues of development may be interrupted, peace eroded as well as trust lost. This may always lead to increased cases of conflicts that have compounding effects even on the nature of food programmes in the communities (Furlong, 2005, 34). However, it is of critical importance to note the education that I gained from school has massively contributed towards ensuring that my community maintains peace with the neighboring communities. This has also ensured that developments involving infrastructure, social amenities and health institutions be established in central places that are easily accessible to my community and the other communities. This has contributed towards maintaining the peace as well as advancing the spirit of sharing, thereby minimizing cases of social vices including conflicts (Bercovitch and Jackson, 2009, 24). It is of crucial significance to note that the issue of employment has massively affected most communities regionally, nationally and globally. The most important thing when it comes to the solution to this menace depends on the individuals’ ability to realize their potentials, incubate their ideas and come up with practical solutions to this case (Harding, 2010, 53). The issue of underemployment as well as unemployment has been the core factor that has led to increased cases of criminal activities on global perspective. This follows that the individuals committing such crimes may always be idle, having no well paying jobs, yet in dire demand of money. This leaves them with no other practical option to fulfill their burning financial desires (Cordell and Wolf, 2009, 63). The prolongation of such states of financial hopelessness always makes these individuals to start figuring out the best quick-fix methods of overcoming their dire financial demands. However, based on the fact that getting something like a formal employment to engage may be a challenge, such individuals always resort to such social vices including theft, robbery and conning. This is quite bad if it finds its roots to the youths within the community (Colemann et al, 2014, 25). As such, those communities will always be unstable in terms of economy, development as well as security wise. This is quite crucial since it can author several cases of crime related activities in the society, involving drug trafficking, rape, money laundering as well as theft (Wallensteen, 2011, 26). This acts to soil and erode the reputation of the communities involved. However, my learning in school has taught me that it is a fact that change is inevitable. There is absolutely nothing as permanent as change (Bercovitch and Jackson, 2009, 22). This knowledge has always propelled me towards ensuring that I share a lot of information with the people of my community as well as the other communities with regards to such vices, as well as the possible solutions to the problems experienced. The knowledge gained from school has made me come to terms with the fact that each person has a solution to the problem that he or she faces. The only thing that remains to solve the problem is to identify the root causes of the problems, look for the possible remedies as well as apply those remedies to such problems (Craig, Popple and Shaw, 2008, 37). This has always been the core propellant towards my desire to enlighten my community as well as my neighboring communities towards the issue of problem identification and resolution. As such, I have ensured that my community enjoys the vast of knowledge that I have acquired from school in ensuring that they minimize, prevent and solve the problems eminent within and amongst the different neighboring communities. Through brainstorming, my community as well as the neighboring communities have successfully managed to identify their potentials towards alleviating the serious problems of underemployment as well as unemployment within and amongst the communities. They have realized the weaknesses associated with the failures to attempt or to put ideas in practice as has always been the culture of these communities for a long period of time. In this regard, the communities have started several small entrepreneurial activities to help cater for the problems faced as well as prevent the vices involving youth engagement into criminal activities. The communities have assigned each other the specific roles to play in order to avert the problem of underemployment, without creating undesired competition amongst and between themselves. For instance, my community has been endowed with the role of farming and cultivating agricultural products. In this regards, the other communities act as the immediate customers to the agricultural products produced by my community. The other community has been assigned the role of market research, idea incubation as well as selling farm inputs. This is where my community gets farm inputs. This has created the environment of minimal competition and maximum profit gains that has always helped these communities to realize huge profits. This has ensured that each person, involving the youths within the ommunities, get something tangible and promising to do at all times. This has helped minimize the problem of unemployment as well as underemployment within these communities. In addition to the above, the communities have also gotten enlightened and have acquired vast knowledge with regards to such knowledge that I have acquired from school. This has also created entrepreneurial activities to the disabled individuals since they can start projects and let other people run for them in a peaceful manner. The issue of environmental conservation is of crucial significance to the world today. It is of crucial significance to note that environment serves several purposes in the lives of human beings. As such, there is need to ensure that our environment is clean and habitable, natural resources are protected as well as pollution is minimized to prevent community associated environmental conflicts (Ramsbotham, Woodhouse and Mial, 2011, 29). This is quite critical in ensuring a healthy living environment to human beings, animals as well as aquatic organisms. It is of crucial importance to ensure that all the shared natural resources are critically prevented from pollution as well as properly managed. It is a fact that a healthy environment leads to good health to human beings. However, in case the environment becomes polluted, there are several chances that the health of the human beings will be negatively affected. As such, several diseases related to such pollution may emanate, thus affect the lives of human beings massively (Mayer, 2004, 63). For instance, environmental pollutants involving release of toxic gases to the atmosphere can always cause respiratory disorders in the lives of human beings. This may increase the expenses on the people living in such communities relevant to the increased costs of medication to such individuals. This is quite crucial in derailing the developments, as well as cause a drop in service provisions in other sectors of life as is evident in such communities. Pollution involving release of toxic wastes to water bodies is harmful to the health of the individuals, aquatic organisms as well as the terrestrial plants that use such water. Such pollutants can cause major health risks to the lives of human beings. For instance, diseases such a diarrhea may result from polluted water utilization. This may raise the costs of living through influencing the costs of medication. In most cases, issues involving outbreaks of diseases such as diarrhea always leads to severe cases of premature deaths amongst the individuals involved. Other than human beings, water pollution also affects the aquatic organisms in the same way it does to human beings. It can lead to spread of diseases to such aquatic organisms that translate to loss of species diversity, reduction in species abundance as well as premature deaths (Ladd, 2007, 41). In the same manner, pollution of water resources affect the plants that use such waters. For instance, it may lead to bioaccumulation of toxic substances that may be harmful to such plants later. It is of crucial significance to note that such bioaccumulants can be transferred to the herbivores as well as human beings who depend on such plants as their sources of food (Achinstein, 2002, 73). As such, the toxic bioaccumulants is circulated in such a food chain that it links all the organisms. This is quite crucial since it can lead to unexplained deaths of several organisms, including human beings within a short duration of time. With regards to the above, the knowledge I have gained in school has been massively used by my community as well as the neighboring communities in ensuring that the issue of environmental conservation is properly observed. These communities have gained knowledge involving the benefits of a healthy environment. In addition, they have also been equipped with such knowledge touching on the direct effects and disadvantages of a polluted, unhealthy environment. The lessons, knowledge as well as information I gained in school has been replicated within and amongst the communities and they have successfully embraced the issue of environmental conservation. Currently, the communities have dawned on the responsibility of planting more trees to make the environment look beautiful alongside other environmental advantages of trees. In addition, the communities have adopted the spirit of ensuring maximum safety of the water resources that they use or share. This has ensured that cases of water pollution are minimized as much as possible. This has also been important in alleviating the problems of drought and aridity caused by increased cases of deforestation. The communities have realized that the cases of famine and unpredictable weather patterns are results of deforestation (Mayer, 2004, 39). Coupled with the indigenous knowledge amongst the community elders, my community and the neighboring communities have resolved that cases of illegal logging will be dealt with in the most appropriate manners as per the regulations. This has contributed towards barring such cases, hereby making the environment habitable. The issue of community participation and involvement has also been massively championed following the education that I have gained in school. Through my learning, I have massively influenced the communities to feel part of the natural resources surrounding them. As such, there is the sense and feel of community ownership with regards to such resources. This has helped in ensuring successful environmental conservation between my community as well as the neighboring communities. It is of critical significance to note that several issues may affect different communities living close to each other. On the same note, it is a fact that such communities that live close to each other must share the natural resources within their surroundings. The sharing of these natural resources can always cause severe conflicts amongst and between such communities (Mayer, 2000, 61). However, it is a fact that the magnitude of such conflicts may depend on several factors. These factors may include issues relevant to economic imbalances, political and educational imbalances (Ladd, 2007, 53). Several conflicts always emanate from different categories involving mistrust, ignorance as well as low levels of understanding. In addition, in most instances, several conflicts always emanate as a result of political inequalities, political influence as well as political discrimination. This brings in the notion of community discrimination thereby leading to severe cases of conflicts within the society. It is of crucial significance to note that different personalities always cause states of unrest within and amongst communities either intentionally or unintentionally. For instance, political upheavals may always lead to states of political instability within the communities. This may lead to severe consequences associated with violence, mistrust as well as states of insecurity amongst such communities (Kelly, 2004, 76). In most cases, political instability always follows historical injustices within the societies or communities involved (Mayer, 2004, 38). The magnitude of such conflicts that result due to such historical political injustices always depend on the types of political leaders within such communities. Ignorance as well as misunderstandings of such political leaders with regards to peace, prosperity as well as harmony within the communities may always precipitate such conflicts (Juergensmeyer, 2005, 83). The severity of such conflicts as well as their prolongation leads to states of dwindling developments within the societies or communities involved, dwindling educational level as well as perverse states of security. This may function to widen the nature of enmity between such communities as well as result to increased cases of societal divisions (Sing, 2008, 41). In extreme cases, the problems associated with community conflicts always result to deaths of members of such communities. This is a great loss to the families involved, the community itself as well as the nation as a whole (Ramsbotham, Woodhouse and Mial, 2011, 29). It is of critical importance to highlight the fact that community conflicts have several negative influences amongst communities. Such social conflicts are always the root causes of underdevelopment as well as other social vices evident within and amongst the different communities neighboring each other (Barltrop, 2010, 32). However, the most important thing is to ensure that there are in place several practical strategies for ensuring that peace prevails within the communities and amongst different communities bordering each other. This therefore calls for establishment and enactment of proper and practical conflict resolution strategies to employ during such occasions. Such strategies should be observed by each member of the community to increase peace and harmony within and amongst communities. It is a fact that peace is always the backbone to any achievement, development and success (Moon, 2001, 71). Therefore, without peace, such benefits associated may not be realized. It is important to note that schooling has imparted me with a lot of knowledge concerning conflict resolution and crisis management. In school, there are several lessons learnt that have majorly touched on the issue of conflicts between and amongst communities (Mayer, 2004, 39). This has equipped me with vast knowledge that has been shared across my community as well as the neighboring communities with regards to conflicts resolution. This has involved the identification of the root causes of such conflicts, addressing such causes as well as preventing the reoccurrence of such causes of conflicts (Bellner and Pomery, 2005, 35). The communities have also been sensitized on the disadvantages of such conflicts at personal level, family of household levels, community levels as well as national levels. With this, both my community, as well as the neighboring communities, has acquired knowledge of how to identify possible causes of conflicts within the society, as well as act upon such causes to prevent the eruption of conflicts. The communities have set certain codes of conduct that are universal to all, and must be observed by all the people within the community. This creates a sense of self-control thereby minimizing the potential chances of causing conflicts. The communities have also been trained on several issues regarding crisis management. Therefore, in case there is a crisis in one of the communities, the effects of such crises will not prevail for long since both the communities already have the skills and knowledge requisite to deal with such crises. The communities have therefore learnt the importance of peace and staying united and in harmony with each other. They are also well conversant with the disadvantages of the conflicts to the general good of the community.
