Importance of Education than Life Experiences Introduction 0 What is education? Education is the absolute progressive of the individuality of the child so that he can create an indigenous contribution to human life according to optimum of his ability. Over the recent past, there has been a tremendous change in the sector of education because of the increasing awareness of its significance in the society. Education has come to occupy every survival of humans and thus it has become difficult to separate it with the people’s ways of lives especially to where it has facilitated in solving numerous of world’s challenges. Many learning institutions have been established in all over the world to support the theme of education and to enhance its objective of uniting all races, tribes and genders. There have been a lot of critics especially to the elderly generations claiming that real life experiences are of importance than the western education. This has raised a lot of concerns mainly to the education institutions as the rumors have affected both students and teachers. Those that have opposed education are ironical because they have continued to send their children’s to school despite them condemning schooling. Education contains a lot of advantages because it makes people to be useful men and women out of boys and girls in the society, thus strengthening their potentials to promote to the goodwill of the economy of a country. It offers an optimum level to individuals in enhancing their future careers and goals. Unlike relying on real life experiences where people becomes limited to only a few ways of enriching their lives. This essay encompasses the importance of education than life experiences and also conclusions in support of education in society. 2.0 Reasons for Education as Compared to Life Experiences Education gives students more opportunities and platforms to become what they want in future and make a change to the world. This is achieved when students pursue their desired careers and develop their interest and passion to different fields of studies. It also gives someone a sense of belonging and creates good role models to empower people learn and be efficient in the society. However, all this opportunities ceases to exist while depending on life experiences because people cannot realize their potentials and thus getting difficult to empower them. Education enables individuals and especially juveniles to learn about different subjects such as humanities and Sciences. For instance math’s, biology and physics enable learners to study about methodology to transformed curiosity into understanding which offers students the strength and ability of invention and answers to problems. English facilitates students to develop their skills in speaking fluent, communicating to all people and also assists them in answering complex questions in other areas of their studies. Languages are important tools of learning numerous things especially to babies when they are growing up (Dewey 11). They are numerous superstitions associated with illiterate and uneducated people who most of them are reliance of life experiences and their myths are baseless, good for nothing and usually affects many people’s lives negatively. Education is useful in combating such beliefs and replacing them with logic, reasoning and assumptions which have been tested for their proficiencies (Kidwai para1) The illiteracy often develops ignorance and carelessness and this becomes a problem when it comes to healthcare. Educated people learn a lot of protective techniques that assist them in guarding against a number of serious diseases. Those who depend on life experiences are ignorant and easily ignore the symptoms and prevent looking for medical attention unless the disease becomes serious. Thus, education enables people to acquire skills in protecting their health’s and that of their families. Educated people are more accorded in the society because of their reputable wisdom and knowledge in dealing with critical issues. This makes them to be respected by all, irrespective of the young and the elderly. The uneducated reliance of life experiences are unwisely and are not recognized by anyone in the society. This makes such people not awarded honor due to their level of illiteracy. The more people get educated, the more respect earned to those around and extent among the suburbs. Education majorly facilitates the world to be a safer and peaceful area of survival. Citizens who are educated become aware of the results of illegal behaviors and they are less likely to be contaminated with activities which are not morally upright. A number of illiterate persons stricken by poverty lack other opportunities and turn to robbery and theft to solve their problems. Those who gets educated becomes conversant with their rights, the law and their duties towards the society. Thus, education is a vital factor which facilitates in political stability and social harmony. Education makes people to be confident when they acquired a proof of educational degree or any certification about their knowledge. This makes such people to be taken seriously and be heard in the society. However, uneducated people find it difficult to express their suggestions and views because of lack of self-confidence and self- esteem. Even when illiterate people convey something interesting they may not be taken seriously. In the growth and sustainability of the economy of a country, people have to be educated in order to get a good high per capita income. Nations with educated citizens are extremely prosperous and this usually affects the sustainability of their economy. However, countries with high numbers of illiterate people remain below the poverty line and such nations suffer from debts. For a country to be at the top in development it must invest in education or otherwise it will remain consistent at the bottom line. It is easier for uneducated persons to be violated their rights or fooled because such illiterate people are not aware of all their conjugal freedoms and rights. Relying on life experiences may not be a guarantee of great wisdom in all matters. Illiterate people may be trapped into signing wrong files or be denied their rights which they have. Exploiting an educated person may be difficult because of the level of knowledge and wisdom possess by such people. Education helps people to develop their ability of initiating new and exceptional ideas so as to be recognized worldwide. Unlike uneducated persons, they are limited in their thinking and coming up with projects becomes a problem. It is easier for an enlightened person to develop ways of making money because of his creativity and open minded thoughts (Anon para 2). Academic people are capable of getting a high good paying job as compared to unschooled illiterates. Learned people have high chances of living good and sustainable lives because of their pay. However, the dependents of life experiences who are usually illiterates suffer from poverty for lack of decent jobs to sustain them with their families (Anon 1). Education assists in keeping up with the transforming world because technologies are changing from time to time. Without education, it would be difficult to adapt to these changes and be able to know their use. An educated person is able to know all daily happenings and how technology is trending. For example, an illiterate person may not know about the importance of internet whereas a literate person utilized this potential of technology for pleasure and employment. 3.0 Conclusions The significance of education cannot be overestimated or deteriorated and with the world stepping into towards science and technology, its content in humans tends to enlarge. It is possible in future that education will be one of the basic principles alongside with food, shelter and clothing.
