Likewise, harmful or negative acts and behavior from others are responded to with expected indifference or some other form of harmful retaliation. This often varies in definite details from one situation to the other and from one society to another. Reciprocity can also be regarded as a social norm, of in kind responses to every behavior of other people. Reciprocity networks, therefore, are both social and corporate networks of people where the actions of an individual are responded to by similar and relative actions.

These are usually positive actions which are socially acceptable. Reciprocity networks have been adopted by many people in the present generation. This is so because they have always proved to be essential in the marketing of brands and for building social platforms. The reciprocity networks basically awards you the chance to form important teams that surrounds your crucial accounts and thereby allowing you to continue and perform your repeatable chains of weekly practices. All these start with the formation of a simple reciprocity network, which after a good promotion prove to bring in significant benefits to the concerned person or business.

The networks are usually made up of a number of people who share a common interest. However, this largely depends on the purpose of the reciprocity network. If it aims at promoting a business or company, then the boundary of interests is surpassed. However, for cases of social interaction, one can usually choose the kind of reciprocity network that he or she involves himself with. When a reciprocity network of people with similar interests and few differences is set up, what results is usually a successful social relationship platform that proves to develop people’s social lives.

In the corporate world, the real value of reciprocity is a daunting task to achieve. This is so because it takes a real deal of initiative. The kind of reciprocity network that you create will always inspire leadership and confidence in the support team that you have. It will also fasten the process of knowledge transfer and promote best practices. This is because it does not involve much but simple and easy to do actions like clicking on a simple ‘like’ button. It is a platform that gives you a humble chance to defend the reputation of your company.

In fact, it is said that social networks have a great potential that can be used to promote businesses, companies and brands at very minimal costs. However, for one to maximize the full potential and power of the social networks there is always a need to become a real reciprocity catalyzer. Reciprocity networks may be formed from already existing social networks. On the other hand, they can be formed independently as ways of promoting causes or brands. The idea behind the creating of reciprocity networks is simple: you do not have to wait for the opportunity to act reciprocally; you can as well create your own opportunity to employ reciprocity in different social networking platforms.
