A bus station is a communal place where so many people are found, thus this being the best place to conduct my research on social psychology. I involved myself at a bus station in order to see and hear what people talk while in such places. I also posed some questions to some people selected randomly to get their views and understand if they were okay with that kind of behavior or they need some advancement. The answers given helped me to understand peoples’ behavior and come up with an analysis of how people relate to one another.

The questions I asked came from the way people behave at bus stations while queuing. No any other source used. After getting the answers from these questions, I was able to understand how people socialise by behaving, talking, and also their thoughts. I found that the common languages people understand were used although there was a less percentage that does not use common languages while in these areas. People try to exercise good socialisation mode by greeting one another. This drew my attention to get to know how people greet each other, how does the initiator of the greetings start and how the respondent behaves to the greetings.

According to answers I got from my question about the greetings, majority of the people greet only the people they know, while the minority say ‘hello’ to even those they do not know. According to the answers, people in bus stations do not socialise well as expected because they feel like strangers to each other. Although a number of people feel free and behave well thus make socialisation easier.

Not everyone is impressed with the way of socialisation at these places. Some feel and think that, a way of socialisation should be brought
