Insert A persons basic nature A person’s basic nature I believe is influenced by biological/genetic factors, the social/ environmental factors and the spiritual beliefs since all these are important in a persons development. On one hand, genetic/biological factors at a greater extent influence a persons development since these are the information one carries in their genes that come from your mother and father. Moreover, they are inborn and is with one throughout their lifetime this include; sex/gender, skin color, eye color, height, some diseases, talent, hair color, etc. On the other hand, environmental factors or nurture also has its share in influencing a person’s basic nature which includes nutrition and general surrounding like neighbors. Friends, family, environmental conditions, media and much more which may even include politics influences the development of a person. Since genetic factors are inbuilt, they cannot change at any one bit unless changed by the person willingly like skin color by using skin toning creams, hair color by using coloring creams some go to an extent of changing their sex by undergoing surgery. Nurture makes them do so due to peer pressure or from the media. Genetic factors make people different from one another since their genes are genetically modified from two different organisms. The father and the mother leading to the development of a different organism with different traits, behavior and even capabilities. The caring of children from an environment that is pro-actively and socially active enables children to attract and develop the traits in a manner that will render them helpful. On the other hand, when a child is in a neighborhood that is full of crime and idle activities, they will develop to that extent (Young). The smoking idea is acquired from bad company. The chances of a growing up child to deny and reject such characters is minimal rendering children in an awkward position. Taking a case of a set of twins nature in a similar environment and another suit brought up in different environments. The ones who are brought up in the same environment will tend to depict the same behavior, but the ones brought up in different environment far from each other tend to be very different even in appearance and general characteristics (Young). It shows that the environment also has its share in influencing a person’s behavior. The environment supports the upbringing of individual character. They facilitate advancement in good character or crop up of demoralization. A case in point is where a child is in a group of members who like to play ball. The child will develop to like and play ball with them (Young). If children from a lower social status are taken to higher social status, their behavior changes, their mode of dress, talking, and other characteristics they had. Mingling with other low life children will be a no go zone to them as they will have achieved a different status in the society. Most tend to change even churches, social places to visit and the food they take. People understand their state and level in society and as such relate to social classes. This perception helps them attract character in line with the class. A case in point is talk on current trends and daily activities. Though most talents are inherited, some can come up due to practice and most talents that are inherited must be practiced in order to be brought to full use by a person.Inherited talents should be practiced to come up to the full-blown stage perfectly as compared to environmentally acquire talents that one copied from a friend or acquired from school/college. Talents acquired through inheritance must be developed, and that is the work of nurture/ environment (Young). Some spiritual beliefs and ideologies tend to affect a persons basic nature; some churches have rules and regulations to be upheld and followed by its believers. Like, dressing code in Muslims their ladies are supposed to wear dresses that fully cover their bodies from their heads to their feet. In other religions, going to the hospital is a taboo, they believe in using native drugs to cure ailments and prayers to their God. They believe it is their reason to be alive and can control everything on earth; theyre live squarely depending on Him. This belief has influenced people’s life in one way, or another since an action repeatedly done more than twenty-one times becomes a habit. Thus, most have incorporated these beliefs to their day-to-day life (Kingston). Dacher Keltner in his book born to be good wrote "genocide, global warming, inequality and lack of social wellbeing in America has greatly affected American children. The author brings out about the psychological culture in globalized western culture today and its impact on the growth and development of children (Keltner). These are some of the political factors that currently are believed to be going on board in most countries of the world. The higher the leadership ranks the closer the ties between the members (Kingston). The political ambitions of most politicians have affected most countries through many ways; in the case of genocide, it is believed that clan elders or political leaders organized for such acts. The act influenced and affected many people in those societies. Inequality is also politically activated since most politicians tend to put more resources in their areas as compared with the areas of their political counterpart. It is influenced by peoples basic nature as they cannot achieve what the other folks have in their midst and this has also affected their social well being, thus their inherited talents cannot be upheld in a society with no social well-being (Keltner). To be sure of whether nature and nurture goes hand in hand in a person’s life, some behaviors depicted in a child’s parent like stealing crops up at one time in a child’s life given that the environment he/she is leaving in tolerate the vice. Also, if the parents used to play musical instruments, it is only until the children get the instrument to practice on it in order to recognize the talent. Talents are always hidden, and it is only until the environment and the spiritual belief uphold the rearing of the talent (Buckley JR.). The environment is a key player in a childs development, children who play with other children tend to grow faster; they walk earlier, talk earlier and learn more things as compared with their counterparts who always stay indoors with adults. Also, the brain develops a bit faster since they can be able to recognize different things faster, and they can study new things from other children as they play together (Buckley JR.). It is only through nature/genetics that well-grown babies can be developed when nurtured properly. Children who are brought up in families whose parents always fight tend to be aggressive in nature since they feel that it is natural to fight as it is a daily act at their homesteads (Kingston). Children who play shooting computer games have been reported to act as the game shows, shot with passion, this has been seen as accelerating the rate of crime in the society. Naturally, a person must do their best to adapt to a given environment at a given period. That is why, the reason is supporting that when children are born, their first adapt to what the surrounding persons are doing at the time since they are born in order to survive all odds in the society. It ensures that all those who interact with the child are well mannered. It will be a measure to ensure that the environment/ social factors do not influence the baby negatively (Buckley JR.). They only make sure that the child interacts with those who can help him nurture his/ her inbuilt talents and other good morals. As concerning the political factors, the government must ensure that what they do or pass as law must be endorsed as of good morals to ensure that they bring up a society with good values and this will guarantee development. There will be low criminal cases to be dealt with by the government. In conclusion, biological or genetic factor, the social or environmental factors and the spiritual beliefs all sums up to mold up persons behavior so we cannot separate them. The ones who are brought up in the same environment will tend to depict the same behavior. Most tend to change even churches, social places to visit and the food they take. A person must do their best to adapt to a given environment in a given period It is a definite show that environmental factors involved during children upbringing influences behavior at a great extent. Talents are always hidden, and it is only until the environment and the spiritual belief uphold the rearing of the talent. Religion and belief have influenced people’s life in one way, or another since an action repeatedly done more than twenty-one times becomes a habit. Inequality is also politically activated since most politicians tend to put more resources in their areas as compared with the areas of their political counterpart. Works cited Buckley JR., William.
