What is your definition of beauty? What do you see when looking in the mirror? Well, do you like it?

In society, people have normalized the above aspects and more to give beauty a different definition. A person may feel pressurized to look beautiful, yet it isn't a matter of makeup or other facials. Ideally:

Beauty Is Not About Looking Pretty

Looking and feeling pretty is acceptable. However, being beautiful is not all about having a curvy body shape, perfect lips, skin color, or the symmetry of your facial structure. Well, it is important to look pretty. You can dress yourself up for a social gathering or event because it feels great. From the baseline, it is the nature of human beings to judge people based on their outer appearance. While you can dress well to challenge their story, it doesn't have to be a hassle. Other than focusing your attention on outward appearance, you can do yourself the favor of

Beauty Is Your Angle of Perception

No one decides what beauty is nor determines what ugly is. No one decides that your complexion is not beautiful. Similarly, no one concludes that the apparel that you wear is not a perfect look for you. Sometimes, a person looks at celebrities in beauty pageants, award-winning shows, and movies. The next thought that comes to mind after looking- if only I had…….

You look at their perfect skin and start feeling insecure about your ugly flaws. Well, who said flaws aren't beautiful? No one will embrace your insecurities if you don't do it first. Primarily, the world of inner beauty is a big circle. Although perceptions may vary for every person, you have a say in what you want to perceive and how you want your judgment to affect you.

True Beauty Is Established From the Inner You

A lot of cultures define inner beauty differently. Due to this fact, there is no particular standard for the definition of beauty. As the saying goes, 'beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder.' Therefore, true beauty is the good inner feeling that you have in your heart. It makes you happy, confident, and helpful.

Beauty Is Real Outer Acceptance

The first step to beauty is accepting yourself. You have to admit that your ugly flaws and insecurities are part of you. Once you realize that, you will have a radiant spirit that is characterized by kindness and confidence in yourself and others. Accepting yourself would give you the confidence to appreciate the inner you, with or without makeup.

Beauty Is Looking at What Surrounds You

Subsequently, beauty is about the things that make you feel and appreciate yourself as a beautiful being. It entails the silly or standard look that you wear at home, away from the activities that the world holds. But, beauty is you not trying or hassling to get a compliment for your appearance each time.

A person may strive to make themselves beautiful instead of focusing on the ideal inner essence of what it takes to be beautiful.
