The COVID-19 pandemic has forever changed my life. I have had to adapt to a new way of living, learning, and interacting with others. In the past few months, I have gone from shopping at stores to ordering groceries online and wearing masks in public places to help protect myself and others from the virus. My daily routine consists of social distancing, washing my hands regularly, and avoiding large crowds. Working from home has become the norm for many people, including myself. To stay connected with friends and family who are not able to visit during this time, virtual hangouts have become commonplace. Additionally, I’ve had to adjust how I spend my leisure time by finding activities that can be done safely inside or outside, such as playing board games or walking with a friend. Overall, these changes have been difficult to adjust to, but they are necessary to help keep everyone safe during the pandemic. I have learned valuable lessons about adapting and staying resilient in times of adversity. The COVID-19 pandemic has also changed my outlook on life, making me appreciate all the small moments that bring joy and make life worth living.

This includes reading more books, playing video games, and streaming movies or shows at home.

In addition to the changes in how I spend my free time, I’ve had to make adjustments to the way I work. Before COVID-19, I worked entirely from an office but now have had to transition much of my work online. In order to stay productive in this new environment, I’ve had to become more adept at using digital tools for communication and collaborating with colleagues as well as learning how to set up a comfortable workspace at home.

COVID-19 has also forced me—like so many others—to reconsider my priorities and take better care of myself and those around me. With health becoming a primary concern during this time, I’ve been able to prioritize my physical and mental wellbeing by exercising more regularly, eating healthier meals, and spending quality time with family.

All in all, COVID-19 has pushed me out of my comfort zone and forced me to find new ways of living and working.
