In September 1939, Freud had cancer and was in immense pain. Dr. Schur administered Freud with doses of morphine on 21st and 22nd of September that caused Freud’s death on 23rd September 1939. Freud left the following legacy on different fields of psychology, science, philosophy and feminism (Barbara, 2009). Works done by Freud include the following; The question of lay analysis, The Ego and Id, The Interpretation of Dreams, Studies of Hysteria, Introduction to Psychoanalysis of Everyday Life, and many more.
