Since taking this segment I have been looking into other aspects of societal privilege and how they function, which led to me to an article about “unpacking” the privilege that one carries with them: “Unpacking the invisible knapsack” by Peggy McIntosh. It was interesting because privilege plays a role in every aspect of one’s life – for instance, I have money to buy new books if I would like to, and other do not.
