Happiness is associated with innumerable factors, prominent ones of which include happiness derived from carrying out pleasurable activities and happiness derived from doing an act of kindness. This paper attempts to analyze happiness associated with these two kinds of actions, comparing the effects of both and analyzing which one is longer lasting and which one can be linked with satisfaction in life.
