The wealthy businessman has the influence to decide the election by favoring a particular political candidate. As a matter of fact, the various groups can be laid down as voluntary association, bearcats and formal organization.According to the author, the power elite dominated the nation after the Second World War, possibly after the emergence of the industrialization. Until now the trend is being followed and the business class has the major role in deciding all the activities of America making the public as just a silent observer.
The author is frustrated in explaining that the constitution of such a large nation rests with a smaller group called business and politicians.
It is pathetic to see that children of rich magnets has education in prestigious schools and had international trips in charter planes while the poor children from Latin and African background suffered from having nutritious food and proper education. America as a superpower had the ability and knowledge to help these downtrodden people as their rich economy allows them to do so. The rich has the power to socialize and entertain themselves with all the social clubs and entertainment spots with the support of government while the average earner's hard work all round the year just to make a living.It is still seen in the American society, the differentiation of class and social status
