The negligent attitude of society, as well as the law, could be identified from the fact that the majority of the issue of violence against men goes unreported. This could be because of the traditional approach and mindset of society that makes male violence an absurd issue. The law does not even have any specific clause that solely safeguards the plight of male counterparts in society. This phenomenon has also in a major way affected the male counterparts of the society to protect themselves from the different abuses caused against them. Moreover, the casual approach of society has also left males vulnerable to threats and situations of mental agony as well as depression.
