APPLY SOCIOLOGICAL THEORY TO THE FILM “EDUCATION, AS WE SEE IT” The film, education as we see it entails a story about alienation experienced by many students in residential schools, in Canada. The film depicts the educational decisions taken by the Canadian government on the Aboriginal community.

When considering someone that provided community service, the person that was interviewed was a friend of a friend whom is a school superintendent at a very small school in the Midwest. This paper is written with the intention to introduce Kenneth Dudley (personal communication, November 3, 2011) and describe his contributions of community service through his occupation as a school superintendent.

Social workers face different challenges when handling clients because of the ethnic, social and personal differences. The duty of a social worker is multitasking, exhausting and demanding. Sometimes social workers find it hard to hand clients who prove to oppose the direction provided by the social worker.

Socialization is a result of both an individual’s nature and the way he/she is nurtured by the parents, guardians, and/or society. The first and foremost role in the process of socialization is played by an individual’s nature and his/her personality traits. People differ in their level of exposure to society.
