Sunshine Children Home has decided to create a website, which will assist the orphan and needy children. This will enable these children to access education, food, shelter, and maternal love in these non-governmental organizations. The website will enable many people to access the roles and objectives of the company. Because of this awareness, the needy children will be channeled or directed to this organization where they will comfortable and access various basic needs. The creation of the website will transform the life of the residents in the community from analog to digital technology. This is because many people in the community will train the basic skills such that they can acquire the necessary skills. These skills will enable them to secure jobs in this organization (Snelgrove & Baecker 2010, p. 195). The website will be beneficial to the organization itself. This is because after being created it will upload its mission, vision, goals, and other objectives. These objectives will be accessible to various people and organizations all over the world. The organization will be in a better to access financial aid from volunteering individuals and organizations. After understanding, they will advice those in need or come themselves to receive the services without incurring any cost. The children and other employees will receive training on the betters of how to use the website and other internet skills. The skills will enable them to cope up with rapidly changing technology all over the world and they will manage their future lives and careers. Objectives of the Proposal The main issue to be handled in this organization is to assist the needy children and development in the community. The targeted population is every individual. This is because both the children and the adults will access the website and they will be in a position to assist each other. The adults will the immediate people to assist the children because they interact with them and they understand the difficulties they undergo. When the adults access the mission statement of the organization through the website, they will advise the needy children and even direct to the organization (Katterfeldt, Zeising & Schelhowe 2012, p. 126). The organization will nurture the children such that they can lead successful life. The children will receive training on various internet skills together with other general technology. This will assist them to be well equipped with the current digital era. After accomplishing their education through the help of the organization, they will be fit to work in various fields where digital technology is used. The website will assist the organization and the community in admitting many students to the organization. This is through an advertisement on the website reaching many people all over the world. This will reduce or even eliminate the children who are suffering in various communities. The living standards in the community will be improved as the residence together with the children will live comfortably through the assistance of the organization (Pickett, 2012, p. 117). Rational of the Proposal A website is necessary for this organization because there are many needy children in various communities, which need the assistance from the organization. The children do not have parents, food, shelter, and education. This has affected them that they are even spending their night in the streets and collect remnants from the dust pins. The website will enable the organization and its services to be known in various parts, in the world. The organization will receive financial aid from financial donors. This is through the presentable upload of the services they offer on the internet. The organization should include the achievements or goals that they have accomplished for a period as part of uploaded contents on the website. The achievements and goals will motivate the financial donors and they will give their assistance to the organization. What made me select this idea is the rapidly changing technology all over the world. This made to come with the idea that the organization should transform the way of serving the children and marketing the services from analog to digital. Through the knowledge of the website and other internet skills, the organization will create other web pages of social media like facebook and twitter. These social media web pages will enable the organization further to market the organizational services. This is because many individuals and organizations use social media to display their services (Li 2012, p. 104). However many people are visiting the social media web pages frequently and this will access the services offered by the organization to the children, community, and worldwide. In addition, currently internet and other digital subjects have been introduced in the school curriculum including even primary schools. The website will enable the organization to incorporate the internet skills and other digital technology skills as class lessons when guiding the needy children. This will prepare the children by equipping them with digital knowledge and skills that will help them in their future lives. This is because they are orphans and they should be well prepared to fit the current changing world technology, such that they will be in a position to support them. The format of the proposal will motivate individual volunteers to bring the needy children to the organization. This is because the information on the website about the services offered in the organization will guarantee them that the children will be comfortable. This is because the website has all the information on how the children are treated in terms of food, education, shelter, and other services (Madden, Cortesi, Gasser, Lenhart, & Duggan 2012, p. 229). In addition, the format will put the organization in a strategic position by use of the website. A motivation should be given to the employees and the individuals who bring the needy children to the organization. This will be a unique approach to be used by the organization on the employees and the volunteering residents. The employees will work hard to make sure that the children are comfortable as they know that with the good services they will offer to the children they receive a motivation inform of rewards or incentives. The residents will work hard to bring as many children as possible to the organization because they know they will receive an incentive or a reward. These promises of the rewards and incentives to the employees and residents should be uploaded on the website. This will improve the services offered by the organization to the children. In addition, it will motivate the government and other financial lenders to offer more financial aid to the organization. This is because the organization will have more needy children who are assisted by the organization (Olmos 2014, p. 79). The approach of using the incentives and rewards on the residents and the employees will be unique and it will differentiate the organization from other organizations offering the same services to the needy children in the community. To make this approach successful and recognized, the organization should post the number of children accommodated in the organization. At the same time they should they indicate how frequently the children are admitted in the organizations. The range of age of the assisted children is very important. This is because if there are many young children it will require more attention and various types of food. This will enable the organization to be considered and they will receive a larger portion, which will enable them to serve all the children in the organization. Interactive and Visual Elements Interactive or visual elements should be uploaded on the organization’s website. The examples of these elements are the images showing the needy children in the community who should be assisted by the organizations like Sunshine. The image in figure show the needy children who need immediate assistance in the creation of the website such images should be posted and brief explanation is given as per the image. This will show the extent that the organization has gone in assisting such children. In addition, images like that in figure two should be posted on the organization website (Yakel, Conway & Wallace 2011, p. 82). The image shows major difference and improvements between the two images. Figure 2 shows the children who are already admitted in the organization. The image shows that the children are well attended to as compared to figure 1. In figure 2, it shows the extent that the organization has gone in introducing the internet and other digital skills to the children. Figure 2 shows an instructor taking through children in a lesson using a computer. When the images are posted on the website, it will pass a given message to the public, government, and international financial donors (Hobbs, 2010, p. 101). The individuals and organizations will be touched by the effort put in place by the organization and they will not hesitate to assist the organization by sourcing funds. The recorded video, audio, and images will attract many youths who access the website to volunteer to assist the children. The youth and other individuals will volunteer to support the organization by offering the food, time, and their personal services to assist the children (Gee 2010, p. 221). These people will surrender their products and services to the children because they want to make sure that the children will lead a successful life in the future even if they are orphans. The sample of a blog that I will post on the organization’s website is like “is there a needy child around your community? Let us join hands together to assist the needy and orphan children in our community. These needy children or orphans might be the future leaders and they will assist others after leading a successful life." The blogger should be something, which expresses the pain of the children and touches the reader. When such blogs are posted or uploaded on the website, the individuals and organizations who will visit the website will be touched and motivated to assist the children. The blog will make an individual in the community to assist the needy child when he/she meets with one of them. The individual can do this by directing the children to the organization assisting to provide if he/she can do it. Summary The organization should have a website. This is because the website will assist the organization in various ways. Currently, everywhere in the world has been transformed to the digital era. The organization will benefit from this era, as it will have a website, which will be accessed by many people in the process of going through various sites. The elements posted by the organization containing the achievements and goals that they have accomplished will motivate the donors of non-profit making to fund the services of the company. In addition, through the website, the government can monitor how the organization is utilizing the funds and they can offer any assistance required (Cochrane & Withell 2012, p. 162). The company will receive many youths who will be touched by the posted images and other elements on the website. Youths and other individuals are visiting the social sites, websites, and other sites and they will view the elements of the organization in the process of their visit. This will enable them to offer their assistances to the organization and children in various ways. This is in the form of personal services or offering goods like food.
