Revolutionary Material in Interior Design: Zeoform Zeoform is a revolutionary material that has immense potential of being used in interior design. Zeoform is made of cellulose fibers collected from pulp and waste paper, and water. Zeoform is formed by using a patented formula to grind the fibers of cellulose with water. In this way, the hydroxyl bonding method naturally used is duplicated. Zeoform can be sprayed, pressed, stained, sanded, and painted. It is glue-free and can be made with a variety of densities.

Zeoform is a new eco-material that can be used in place of a whole range of conventionally used materials that are not very sustainable. Zeoform’s application ranges from jewelry and musical instruments to structures and interior design. Zeoform is wood-like in texture and can be molded into a very vast range of products. This material is fully non-toxic. Zeoform is biodegradable and is formed by locking up of the molecules of carbon collected from waste into very ecstatic functional things.

Zeoform is a revolutionary material because it is not a one of its kind material, but is also environment friendly as it is formed from the processing of waste. Zeoform “is a ‘game-changing’ technology that will generate a new global industry – much like plastic did in the post-war years. A ubiquitous, eco-friendly material used on all continents in nearly all industries to produce endless, innovative consumer products” (Wheeler cited in Zarkham). Zeoform’s raw materials are in abundance and process of manufacturing is fairly simple.

Because of these factors, Zeoform is cost effective and is competitively priced. Works Cited:Zarkham, Derek. “A revolutionary new eco-material gets a Kickstart.” 22 Oct. 2013. Web. 12 Nov. 2013. .
