Insert Social Cultural Identity: A script It is 8:30 am; the sun’s rays illuminate a high-end home in Santa Monica, Los Angeles. The family of three; Mr. Jerry, Mrs. Jerry and daughter, MS Calder is preparing for the day’s activities when a garbage truck approaches the gate. The driver brakes, walks out of it and knocks the gate to collect the fee from the family. Garbage collector: (Tak! Tak! Tak!) Is there anybody in there? (He enquires aloud)Ms. Calder: (Peering through the first floor window) who the hell is that?

Can’t you use the gate alarm? The garbage is out there for you to take. Drive that filthy-smelling truck away from our gate. You don’t belong in Santa Monica.Garbage collector: (In a calm response) I know I am a low class, but … but I’m I doing my job ma..am! Please settle the garbage arrears now, please…Ms. Calder: You are a good-for-nothing freak! Your overall is soaked in filth. In fact you’re a security threat to us. We’ll pay you your dues electronically; now leave! Don’t worry we have the account number with us (The disappointed man leaves. Mr. Jerry comes from the bedroom in a short pant and vest.

He walks to where his daughter is standing to establish why his daughter has been shouting. They hug briefly and begin the conversation. Calder’s mother is busy preparing some expensive pizza royale for breakfast in the kitchen. Probably she did not hear the war of words).Mr. Jerry: (Appearing aanxious) what’s up daughter? I overheard you shouting.Ms. Calder: Daddy, it’s some freaky, garbage guy… I hate him!Ms. Jerry: Ha ha! By now he should understand that Santa Monicans are high class … we don’t associate with security threats like him …
