Exhibition Analysis Introduction Visual Art is the most expressive form of explaining oneself. Throughout the years, there hasbeen massive development and innovation in the field of arts. The various sub divisions in visual arts such as printmaking, sculpture, painting and photography have given advantage to artists, to illustrate their ideas in a more dynamic and specific way. Many renowned names have served this field and have given human’s wisdom, to explain their ideas and thoughts through it. Hannah Sawtell is one of the emerging names in this field of arts. The British artist has been famous for making three dimensional artworks. She has been producing revolutionary mixed media three dimensional artworks by the help of small three dimensional objects. Her tremendous work in the field has made a reputed place of her and is now considered as the prime British artist of three dimensional arts works. Susan Stockwell, another big gun in the industry has prominent and well-known position in the field of arts. The themes of her art works are quite different from the usual artists as she addresses politics, ecology, migration, identity and technology. She has received numerous awards due to her magnificent services in the field. Her trademark motifs explain a lot of things which we neglect in our daily life. She utilizes recycled computer elements and other everyday stuff as her trademark signal which gives a silent message, To Whom It May Concern. Exhibitions of both these artists give a strong message to the art lovers. Hannah Sawtell Artworks Vendor at Bloomberg has been given a special task to Hannah Sawtell. The exhibition would be first solo project of the artist. Hannah is also presenting her work in the ICA Oscullator. The exhibition is basically of video works and installation mark’s, opening of a new horizon in the field. Experience of Hannah at Bloomberg became the backbone to have an exhibition (Lindley, 2012). The art work she developed during her stay at Bloomberg is being presented in the respective exhibitions. Bloomberg providing the space for exhibition is also a big career step for her. The artistic artwork of Hannah is also beneficial for advertising purpose. Technological advancement depiction is the name of the game in her primary art work (Mousse, 2012). (Bloomberg, 2012) Hannah has been making a very useful source of the internet and was constantly gathering vital information from the internet. In the past few months, she had a reputed collection of digital realm. During her stay at Bloomberg, she also took live screen shots images to cover all the aspects of her future endeavors. Her vision has brought a new aspect in the field of arts as she has got herself into the next level of image production. Contemporary material and surfaces has been the key element behind the development phase. The categorization of images is splendid as she has precisely made adequate usage of the resources and the invasions of new objects have created a lighthearted dialectical encounter. The expressions are impressive and commendable (Lindley, 2012). Artistic Instinct The works of Hannah Sawtell – Vendor, is not just ordinary piece of art; it’s a blend of ambition, motivation, inspiration and new insight. Exploring new ideas and change in the traditional thought process is the artistic instinct. By gauging different elements of life, Hannah has able to develop a relationship between the material and its usage. Depicting from the primary sources till the completion phase, Hannah’s work shows brilliance and class. Usage of the digital realm images and gauging its depiction with some other material shows artistic intuition and idea for the future (Bloomberg, 2012). Taking the example of the truck image in her current exhibition shows that how a gigantic truck can be dependent upon tires. Massiveness of an object still needs some essential building blocks to hold its position and without tires, truck is useless. This gives a silent message to the humans that some time tiny objects in our life matters a lot. Some tiny objects are not given importance in human life due to various reasons but those objects are the building blocks of life (Lindley, 2012). Also the backend of the picture shows tiny tires along with the back body of the truck. There are clear indications of slippery scratches on the road which point out that the main area of concern is the backside. Without a powerful back body, truck cannot sustain (Lindley, 2012). Message that can be deducted is that some ignored parts are unsung heroes and their importance is revealed in the time of need and emergency. Although everyone has his own explanation of the art but the idea behind this artistic work remains that there are various unsung objects in life. The best part of Hannah Sawtell works is that there is something for everyone. Using the artworks of Hannah for one’s respective business is easy. From an eye of a marketer or advertiser, these images are vital for the guerilla marketing purpose. Gauging people with such images makes a strong connection and long term sales impact can be laid. The usage of digital realm gives an additional benefit to the artist over others in the industry (Mousse, 2012). Susan Stockwell Artworks Susan Stockwell is one of the smartest and genius artists ever born. Engaging all those materialistic objects which we believe are useless into her artworks is glorious and ambitious. Her theory implication that nothing is useless can easily be observed in her artworks throughout the career. Her work is not just arts but it carries significance and meaning for the populace. Motto is to utilize the useless and bring them to play. Her bringing of computer objects into arts play is what determines flood of things (Hutchinson, 2010). (York, 2010) states that red is thematic color being used by the artist for the background. There can be infinite deductions about the usage of red color but the artist believes that the impact of this color is outrageous and eye catching. Red the color of blood and computer wiring also had red dominance which moved the artist to infiltrate red into the background. Plus it is according to the theme flood and as there is placement of computer objects in the image, Red is the color which is appropriate. The Message Flood by Susan Stockwell has a vital message for the consumer and capitalists of the world. Throughout the massive technological expansion all around, computer waste is not still addressed properly. The message which artist wants to convey is that there should be some attention on how to dispose computer waste and what can we do to make it useful in our daily lives (Sarah, 2010). The vision of utilizing computer waste into useful components gives a chance to the visionaries to essentially make use of stuff. Flood is used in positive aspect that computer materials which are of no further use carries colossal importance and cannot be just thrown away. In our daily life, we can make thousands of innovational objects with them. It is just the matter of making things into exercise (Buczynski, 2012). The implication of Flood at York St. Mary’s has immense importance as Church carries emotional and spiritual rituals among the individuals. Laying an impact by exhibiting into it can change the masses horizon and vision about certainty and faith in materials. Everything carries value and it needs a perfect artist to portray its eminence to the world. Flood of pollution and information can be seen all over the globe, boundaries are not yet set so far and if the scenario remained it so, then the flood will take of us under its control. There will no going back then and the transformational period will eventually take long. Prepare for tomorrow with a contingency plan is the artists message in her arts work (Hutchinson, 2010). Thematic Connection The works of both artists Hannah Sawtell and Susan Stockwell are of sheer magnitude and enormity. The thematic connection which can be observed in the artistic works is that they want to awake people from sleep. Prior future planning according to the current scenario is vital and necessary. Relevance of unsung objects in everyday human life is portrayed and how they can bring the change into our lives is the agenda behind the artworks. The techniques of gauging people are quite amazing, interesting and praiseworthy. If we analyze the work of Hannah, then it shows modernism, glamour and novelty. Digital realm has managed to attract and magnetize people to the message behind the arts. Now the intentional ideas and thoughts are conveyed in a very adequate and decent way. As there has been of advance technological trend these days so the artist has rightly made its use. There are vast majority who don’t have any major interest in the technological development and are more engaged to spiritualism, religiously or in some other way. Having an exhibition in York St. Mary’s is a depiction of a fact that Susan objective is to deliver a message to all those spiritual individuals out there that nothing in the world is useless and flood of technology needs a proper arrangement into our daily life. Conclusion Presenting message in a way that the receiver would have an impact on mind, and also his unconscious brain remains unaware about receiving a certain message is truly the work of fine arts. The artistic works of both the exhibitors is applauding. They have targeted the disregarded sectors of the society and have made certain that people would think about it. The tactics and techniques of both artists were different and outstanding. Masses were addressed in a systematic and honorable way. Agenda and point was communicated in a very delegate way which assured that the people would get message from the exhibition. Essential subjects of life were discussed in a reputed way. Human behavior towards objects was primarily the theme, how humans make use of things and what happens next to them was the core agenda. Human life is full of endeavors and experiences, everyday there is a new challenge to face, new wall to climb. Life can be made much easier by gauging those objects that we think have no importance. Artists goal were to make a statement that everything cannot be thrown away. Everything has qualitative and quantitative weight, presenting the best picture with adequate use of resources should be the aim in life. Development is the fun of life which every human should enjoy and this fun element can be easily fulfilled if proper usage of ignored materials is made possible.
