If I would never have read Frida Kahlo’s meaning to her work, I would have thought that this man was in her head, always watching with a third eye and the oppression she feels, but as she expresses to friend, “ I have suffered two serious accidents in my life, one in which a streetcar ran over me…. The other accident was Diego.”.
