Vik Muniz Contemporary artistic painting, writing, and singing started in the 20th century in the late 1960s. During this period, artists developed different art styles that eventually yielded them the unprecedented fame, which lasts to the modern global society. Undoubtedly, their artworks extend considerately to lure the passion of viewers and readers globally. Most of the famous artists in contemporary artists are Marina who is a performance artist, Peggy Ahwesh who is a video artist, and Vik Muniz who is a Brazilian painter. Artists focus on painting as a form of expressing their emotions, thoughts, and depicting the perceived pictorial presentation of documented and undocumented history, for example, establishing the process by which former artists developed their artwork. The world’s famous artists are those who contribute positively to the society as through their artistic embraces, they pass knowledgeable understanding. Vik Muniz’ contribution to contemporary art history is precise and clear to the global society. History depicts that 1961 was Oliveira’s year of birth at Vinci in Italy. The aggressive and intelligent artist concentrates on matters that influence the entire world. For example, he had a passion to nature as a young person, he engaged in sculpting in his early ages whilst in Brazil, and the practice influenced his urge to engage in art. Arguably, findings depict that Muniz’ occupations are numerous, all of which influence his art in different dimensions (Rubin 56). Despite the challenges faced by the 20th communities living in developing and underdeveloped nations in reference to communication, transport, and other cultural differences, Muniz managed to transverse in the American continent, and eventually settled at New York in America. Born in Sao Paulo, Muniz undermined the necessary social stigma that dominated the Latin communities in contributing in the history of art as one of the most uncontested visual artists of the modern society (Phillips, and Shana 48). According to the 1970s and the present records, Vik Oliveira Muniz specialization as a billboard designer in Brazil during his youth and his passion for art are the contributing factors in presenting artworks that definitely maintain proportional values. Further, Muniz uses materials such as chocolate and sugar in his paintings. Such approaches add allure to his paintings. In the modern society, visitors to the museums that hold Vik’s artworks derive an allure from them since they resemble complex and yet predictable presentations over basic paintings. Further, Muniz’s inspirations in the field of painting emanated from his talents in sculpting and writing of scripts. These auxiliaries revamped desire to developing outstanding painting since they served as platforms for delivering his psychological thoughts to audiences, and their demeanor would propel the need for painted presentations. As a renowned artist and inventor, Muniz developed competent artwork that inspires the contemporary art community with both the audience and other artists embedding their loyalty to enhance art considerably (Rubin 74). At the age of 18, Muniz entered the field of art by competently redesigning billboards and on an eventual day in his work, he attempted to stop a fight, a factor that prompted one of the fighters to shoot him. Later on, the gunman paid him off to reconsider his urge of pressing charges and Muniz seized the opportunity and used the money to travel and establish a studio in New York. History depicts that through art, Muniz yielded fame from the society since the beginning of the contemporary period and the society’s interest focused on artwork, ranging from pictorial presentations, writing, music, visualized films, and comic presentations. However, arguments are that Muniz’ fame emanated from the numerous contributions in the different fields of occupation. Mainly, Vik sought the realism approach as the ideal painting approach to present his artwork. The artist practices photographic art design and the use of edible substances in developing arts. Other paintings resulted from his expertise in the use of chocolate syrups. For example, Vik Muniz painting of the “action photo” draws the attention of viewers to perceive the allure that Pollock intended to present in his painting career since Muniz uses edible bases (Phillips, and Shana 85). Eventually, his photographic approaches propelled his recognition in the contemporary art community, and knowledge prevails that the icon is a competent painter and photographer. The artist left his hometown, Sao Paulo and relocated to New York where he profusely advanced in the field of art. For instance, highlights are that while in New York, Muniz photographed the world’s largest site used for dumping, ‘Jardim Gramacho’ in the proximity of Rio de Janeiro to address the issue of environmental pollution. This artistic approach led to the acknowledgement of Muniz as an ironic artist with whose art drew the attention of the majority population. Presumptions are that his art display in the late 1990s drew an audience tally that seconded Picasso in attendance. In addition, Vik paintings comprise of sugar, diamonds, wires or threads, and other quotidian objects. Contextually, the field of photography and painting is predominantly attractive and the allure emanates from its ironic method of presenting information. Arguably, the beginning of the contemporary period served as a milestone in the occupation and artists living in the forthcoming generations would perceive the field as the most appropriate for expressing their imaginations, a factor that concurs with that of their predecessors. In the 21st century, the global community continues to acknowledge Muniz as the “contemporary artist,” citing that the artist has diversity in his career and occupation and that he reigns in all fields of the profession. The artist differs greatly from his predecessors in the field of art by using new techniques in the art of painting. For example, Vik’s use of chocolate syrup and sugar in the action painting to deliver a conceptual idea that Pollock aimed at delivering glossy artwork. The artist further incorporates the use of diamonds and other edible substances in painting to implicate to the viewers that art is as valuable as the precious diamonds. Arguably, Vik pioneered the media of artistic painting with the use of food substances solely, and gained credit on the invention of the commonly used photographic artwork, which passed through several decades to modern society with artists considering it the best (Rubin 156). The action piece by Vik Muniz enforces the use of chocolate and sugar as the media of painting. Arguably, the word ‘action’ emanates from the practice of spreading and splashing paint randomly to develop the work in according to their perceptions. The paintings show artist Jackson Pollock busy painting on a material dropped on the floor. The usage of chocolate syrup, implements a stylistic approach for the audience to perceive an attitude of edibility. Therefore, Vik Muniz’ form emulates emotional perceptions that the painting is significantly important (Respini 45). The artist maintains accurate presentation despite the use of food products as the media. Its allure and luster at the edges marks the artist’s initiated changes from chocolate medium to sugar. Therefore, Muniz use of chocolate and sugar in painting shows Pollock in the field of art. It is evident that Muniz seeks to emphasize on the importance of action art that Pollock observed necessary in reaching the society that showed loyalty to expressionism. However, Muniz presents the painting in a manner that Pollock’s artwork accrues the desired praise in the society (Van 68). Through Muniz’s action painting, the American society derives an ideal understanding of art in relation to expressionism, a movement that lacked abundance for a long time and his involvement served as the milestone to achieve importance of the art approaches and more specifically, the action context in the expressionism period (Durant 58). The title, action photo, is important in nurturing art to inclined levels for the entire American society to realize the importance of embracing different art approaches. Additionally, Muniz’ contributions extend to acknowledging the effects of environmental pollution through designing of garbage and taking photographs to deliver psychologically effective messages concerning the media used. For example, Vik mastered the effects of glow, shades, and lighting thus being able to capture photographs from different angles, and later on presenting them as paintings. In order to be factual, the artist photographed and painted a garbage site near Brazil’s capital, which outlined on the effects that dumping causes to the environment. During the photography painting processes, Vik presents the visions and other elements of nature around subject matter. Therefore, Vik Muniz progress is evident in the modern society as he successfully presents art in creating awareness concerning important theories and subjects that may eventually affects the people’s lives. Arguably, the paintings challenge other elite and great thinkers because they describe the importance of different elements in the environment. The art is extremely perceptive and lures the audience into perceiving the presence of extra importance in the field of art. The mindset results from ideologies that Muniz’ artwork establishes emotional characteristics such as the art of Pollock. These inspirations are important in enabling individuals to understand the field of art as not necessarily a field of competition. The aspect emanates from the factual that the artist develops his photo in praise of an artist who lacked the required when he was living (Van 77). The involvement of Muniz in developing another artist’s painting movement to gain the necessary recognition reflects a rare case and defines that art draws passion than the generally perceived competition (Ingledew 69). The syrup painting that Muniz photographed after a short while of developing reflects on the urgency in reaction after quick and mindful thought that art would fast dry and lose its allure and acceptance from the audience. Muniz sovereignty in photography on solely developed paintings or obscured arts is overwhelming. The texture of the photographs reflecting the original paintings is ideal representation to the honor of expressionism approach in America. Arguably, the painting extremely praises Pollock, the visiting audience to the gallery, and the informative design of the use of edible media to encourage the thought that painting is alluring, and the use of human consumables may certainly establish importance in art (Respini 65). Therefore, it is ill for audiences to argue that they dislike the art by Vik since it establishes dimension, proportionality, and subject, among other traits of art. In spite of the work being unoriginal for it emanates from a visual photograph representation, it owns vast importance of praise for it encompasses abundance to establish all elements in their appropriate places to deliver the desired meaning. The advancements of depicting the original body marked the beginning of profound photographic art in painting, as artists are able to undertake precise and clear analysis on what they wish to deliver to the forthcoming generations. As the global population comprises of different groupings, Vik Muniz indulged in artwork with a mindset of relaying the ideal knowledge amassed through history and environmental sciences. Mainly, the artist engaged on interpreting social and scientific teachings and establishing paintings to photograph thereafter. His exemplary performance in interpretation of psychological to develop paintings and photographs prevails among a broad spectrum of his paintings. For example, the ‘footstep,’ ‘outlets,’ and ‘the pictures of garbage’ describe social interpretations that enable all viewers across the globe to assume vivid images of the would-be situations if certain factors would persist (Andersen 112). The society adapts most of their perceptions on expressionism and the desired changes in environmental practices from Vik Muniz’s artwork. Images from the work of contemporary artists, but more often, the images belonging Muniz are made useful in conferences and global forums. Conclusion The human race acknowledges the artist’s contribution to the field as his paintings reign with sovereignty throughout the contemporary edge. Painting and photography interrelations emanating from Vik’s intelligence and exploration serve to solve problems in the environment, as well as maintaining culture since he asserts the least acknowledged art histories in his work. For example, the knowledge of maintaining a painting through photography since the material used may not last the desired period despite their influence in developing the best art.
