Before conducting the research, it is important to analyze the nature of international travel and tourism industry. To ensure a comprehensive understanding, trends in the last 30 years will be taken into consideration to evaluate the performance of this sector before the onset of the recession. After that, an in-depth analysis of Bermuda will be done where its political, economic, social, technological, legal and environmental factors will be explored. This information will be of great help in the later part of the project where strategies related to travel and tourism industry of Bermuda will be developed.

In the later part, the tourism sector of Bermuda will be analyzed after exploring its effect on the economy of Bermuda. Different facts and figures will be collected to find out the manner in which travel and tourism industry has developed in Bermuda, the different changes it underwent and the present state of this sector. On the basis of the information collected through exploratory research, certain strategies will be developed for enhancing the travel and tourism in Bermuda. These strategies will explain how an island can attract international tourists, how Bermuda can improve its competitive position in the international tourism sector and how the Government and private sector of Bermuda should work hand in hand to overcome the emerging challenges in travel and tourism sector.

This paper will explore almost all those facts and figures that are related to the travel and tourism industry of Bermuda. Different books, database and authenticated websites will be used to collect secondary data and then these data will be interpreted to derive the required information.
