Good communicator -- when operating a business the ability to communicate is very important. Whether they are promoting a business, promoting teamwork, or working with employees, they must have strong communication skills.4. Balanced life -- entrepreneurs must understand how to balance family and business. There is a need for an entrepreneur to recognize that family and friends are as important as their business, so they must find a way to balance it all.5. Hardworking -- There is more to hard work than just doing the work so entrepreneurs must be hardworking and willing to improve themselves so they will have fresh ideas and stay open to new ideas and suggestions.

Wilner (2009) agrees with Lim's assessment in that innovation, creativity, and perseverance are important entrepreneurial attributes. He also adds that having a sense of humor and an "internal locus of control" (p. 2) during problems is important to make sure the business stays on track. One other attribute that Wilner mentions is self-confidence. The self-confident entrepreneur sees themselves as a leader who continually discovers innovative ideas and who is willing to take risks. The self-confident leader is able to accept feedback, is flexible, and able to change course when needed and able to learn as their business grows (Wilner, 2009).

Entrepreneurs also need a variety of traits that managers have in order to design a full business. In other words, there are a variety of needs that an entrepreneur has that must become a part of their lives. Birley and Muzyka (2000) suggest that there are six dimensions of entrepreneurship.
