Samsung Electronics faces competition mainly from Apple Inc, which in most cases has been on the forefront integrating modern technological systems. In turn, Samsung also has to adjust to such need to guarantee its competitive advantage edge (Wysocki, 2006, 127). When Apple Inc developed iCloud application to assist consumers store and download their favourite music, it registered significant increment in the sales with potential competitors like Samsung registering slow growth rates. The project aims at ensuring the development and installation of Galaxus in the latest Samsung phones spearheads the increment in sales. 2. Derivation The Galaxus application allows efficient interaction for the consumers through the digital music. The application is also user-friendly. To ensure compliance and incorporation of the current needs of the customers, the project intends to integrate the artist and the consumers (Rittinghouse, 2004, 181). In other words, it would create a platform for the potential clients and their favourite artists. Galaxus will allow easy distribution and sharing of the musical content. The application can compete effectively with Apple’s iCloud to assist the company acquire a favourable competitive advantage using limited organizational resources. The project will also ensure that the programme works with the latest Samsung galaxy smart phones, and for efficiency and convenience purposes, the application would be pre-installed in the manufactured phones. Quality criteria The main objective of the project involves development of user-friendly programme that allow the clients to interact easily with their favourite music artistes. To ascertain the achievement of the project, it would be significant for the company to monitor various project deliverable. Deliverables are the required outcomes of a project that the company intends to achieve (Sokowski, 2015, 143; Dobson, 2004, 116). The major deliverable is availability of different music content for the users. For effectiveness, the music content would be that of user’s defined favourite artist.
