A survey of standards and procedures to be observed during maintenance is another source of difference between the two exercises. The paper concludes that line maintenance check involves more of simple services offered to an aircraft while still observing the operations schedule, on the other hand, manufacturer maintenance is more detailed and consumes considerable time even when no quality changes are intended. Throughout the years, the comprehension and particularly the planning of maintenance checks for aircraft have changed considerably.

In the initial point, the planning for aircrafts maintenance was very fundamental and easily done by the manufacturer. In this way, maintenance was typically direct and regularly arranged between the carrier and the manufacturer (Kleeman & Lamont, 2005). At the point when needed, it used to be performed after a given time of aircraft usage or distance. Considerably more extensive exercises, for example, repairs and updates, which occur on a successive premise, used to be performed on an unscheduled basis (Gavranis & Kozanidis, 2013).

Additionally, the current planning of maintenance turned out to be practicable because of a more dynamic environment in which both costs and the multifaceted nature of the aircraft continued to grow. Accordingly, efficient scheduling of maintenance was important with a specific end goal to prevent expenses and accomplish a more noteworthy proficiency in service delivery. The aircraft business is not tantamount to some other transportation industry. Flights comprise of more than simply the take-off and the landing: all components must be set up properly, operation and maintenance prerequisites must be met.

Maintenance checks must be performed with consideration to verify that each plane departing from the airport is airworthy, protected and safe, this obviously at the most reduced conceivable expense. It is evident that keeping up armadas appropriately is of key significance for the travel option to stay one of the most secure transportation ways.
